Just heard some cuts from Real Live on XM Radio today and is great. Am going to the record store after I write this to buy it. Keep up the great guitar work and play more blues. I am a bluesharp player and have been playing blues for over 30 years. I love it. Take Care.

Hey Frank,

I just ordered the new and old Live CD's, I was sitting at the computer and my 9 year old is practicing his guitar. I just saw you for your 2 shows in the D.C. area before you went to play BB Kings. Loved the show, my son says you still got it for an old guy, he's 9 were all old guys to him. At the show you signed a shirt for him that he has hung on his wall, all his buddys love it. In short you have a 4th grader pushing Frank Marino on the kids at his school and they love it. Keep Rockin and play California soon.

Regards,
Dave Wallace

Dear Frank,
Your music has been an inspiration to me for 30 years. I started playing guitar in 1977 and you were the Jimi Hendrix of my musical life. I fashioned my own guitar playing style from yours and found it did not bode well with many musicians that I played with. It didn't matter to me because it's the only way I wanted to play. I never made it as a success in music but have many fond memories. My son is now 16 and has been playing for 5 years. He's into Ingwie Malmstien but I know the style I learned from you has influenced him as well. I wish you all the success and happiness in your life and hope I can see you in concert in my lifetime.

Hi Frank, I'm compeled to write to you after purchasing RealLIVE, which in my view is the best live guitar album I've ever heard !! I am simply in awe of the fantastic riffs on this album, there's not many albums that make the hair on the back of my neck stand up these days, but this is one of the few . My first experience of your music was World Anthem, quickly followed by Californian Jam, which absolutely blew me away, and the rest is history. May I ask you to PLEASE PLEASE consider making a live DVD as this is the only way I'm ever gonna see you play. Keep up the great playing mate, all the very best, Jeff Newman, Australia

Holy Shit, I cannot believe my eyes on what I'm seeing on my screen. I was rumaging through some old stuff and came across your Live album and I stared at it and thought what ever happened to you. Then sometime later ( now ) your name came into my mind for no reason while I was sitting at the computer, so I googled it and Vwha-la ...here I am. I saw you once live and cannot tell you how many times I listened to your stuff. In the early 80's I had a Blk. t-shirt with FRANK MARINO on it and people thought that was my name and accually called me " Frank ". Until this day I still have some old school freinds call me Frank. You will always be a part of me. 30 years later and your name still pops up.
Have a good one for the balance of your life.. You earned it.wink

I have been a Mahogany Rush Fan ever since my friend gave me a cassette tape around '77 - It was World Anthem, and I was just amazed! I have been playing guitar since '73 and when I first heard Frank play, it totally blew me away.

I was fortunate enough to see him (back in '78 I think) on the 'Rock and Roll Marathon' tour - front row no less!! He sounded fantastic, and Frank absoluetly stole the show - it was just unbelievable!

And what a delight to hear Strange Dreams on the Radio..Those were the days!! I have every album on vinyl up to What's Next, but my 2 favorites will always be Mahogany Rush IV & World Anthem - Fantastic Production!!

And this web site is awesome!! I have been searching in vain for CD's to replace my vinyl, and found a link on this site and ordered my first CD - I can't wait to hear how great it will sound.

Frank Marino, you are the Best Guitar player (and Composer/Producer) ever in my opinion - I especially like the jazzy songs like 'Lady' and 'Look at Me' - They still sound fresh after all these years! I hope you will tour in '06, I will be there for sure!!!

I have just recently got back into playing music (guitar, sax) and I have been experimenting with a lot of blues, jazz and rock. I just had to say how inspirational I feel after hearing Frank play. I am a new fan and devoted listener. Love the nuances, Frank. Hope to see you in south western Ontario soon.
