I saw u play at fox theater in Atlanta in the early 70's the other band that played that night was climax blues band,

but I was blown away by you guys, and have mentioned your name every time I get together with people talking about bands,

anyways, have you ever played up north?
It would be great if you ever wanted to, I have a friend in the business, who now owns his own bar and books top acts out side in summer.(he also does inside bands but your to big for that) he has a new band now called tangled grace,

http://www.tangledgrace.com/ s there site.......

I have been bragging about you guys for 30 years, so if u are ever interested in making a trip north and want to do a show I would love to introduce you to Bob Wheeler (lead singer of tangled grace and band promoter) and u guys work out the details....what’s in it for me? nothing ,but a chance to see you live again. that’s enough for me.

Frank, I have been a fan since my Navy days back in the early 70s. Just picked up your RealLIVE cd and MY GOD MAN, there is no other guitar player out there even close to your abilities.UNBELIEVABLE. I just can't seem to take it out of my cd player. I have never had the honor of attending one of your shows. Please come to Oregon, we NEED you.

Frank,
I've been a fan of yours for a long time. I'm just a country boy that lives in Grady, Alabama, part of a land SOAKED in the spirits that usher blues around like royalty.
I'm 45 now, got a kid at the University of Alabama (that's tough this coming Saturday.... I'm an Auburn graduate), got a 5 year old in Kindergarten (she was a surprise a few years ago), and an instuctor of drafting at Ingram State Technical College. I teach men, who (by hook or crook of life) have ended up in the prison system in Alabama.
I include Mahogany Rush (at least once a week)in the day-to-day soundtrack (no play list) of music that is broadcast from my office located next to my drafting studio. There are so many good musicians locked up. They brew like strong tea in prison and they taste better after they have steeped here for awhile.
Rock while you can.....we'll appreciate it.

Much obliged,
Bud Harris

I was able to see Frank in Springfield, Va at JAXX. All I can say is that if Jimi Hendrix were alive today he would be at Frank's show. I know the music is awesome but the live show was beyond words. Please hurry back! cool

Late one night I caught a special on tv which was the California Jam. I saw many acts but was blown away by some guy named Frank Marino. The next day I immediatly went to the mall and located this California Jam record. I basically never played much of the other artists as Frank's riffs were unmatched. Later, I learned a local dj named Joe Anthony (rip) played his stuff quite often and each time I heard Frank was coming to S.A. I was first in line to buy my tickets. The energy and raw power he produced got me interested in being a life long fan.

Thanks to all the great tunes,
Jeff

We were just talking about great shows and to this day I still remember
day on the green (monsters of rock) ?1980 Oakland Ca. When Frank Marino
opened the show with AC/DC as the 2nd act. And that was still one of the
best concerts I ever saw. It was pouring down rain all morning and Frank is out there just kicking ass on his guitar, and after one of his songs he says somthing about the Fucking rain needs to stop, and then it just stoped. Dam he rocked.... I have never herd another word about his music
or if he even played anymore. Tonight I sat down and looked him up on-line
And was thrilled to see he does still play. Please come to california and play.
Sacramento has great places to play. hope to see you soon....

To Frank's Loyal Fans,
As a member of Frank's Road Crew from 1977 - 1981 it's truly gatifying to see that Frank is still out there and that a loyal fan base is still supporting him. From 77 through 81 I saw first hand how Frank said screw the rules and followed his own vision. Through countless small towns in America and Canada to some especially electrifying events such as the sold out Hollywood Sportatorium show in 77 (17,000) to Cal Jam II to Tokyo and Osaka Japan I saw Frank at the top of his game. All you newer fans out there keep up the support for Frank !

One of the best guitar player ever is surely Frank Marino. I´ve been listening Frank´s music for years and I´ve learned many things from his playing to my own guitar playing. My favorite albums are: Live, Power of rock´n´roll and Juggernaut. These three albums are full of "real rock music" and I have to say that the best live I´ve ever heard is LIVE (1978), which is outstanding show from the beginning ´till the end. I would be so glad if I could get some LIVE music from Frank with the picture, so if it is possible to get any DVD´s I would happy to buy those.
