Wow, did I just have a flashback, after seeing FM AND MR on youtube. I first saw you play in Sarnia Ontario in the early 70's,was living in Port Huron MI at the time. Crossed over the Bluewater Bridge, without being asked for an ID, much less a driver's license. Peaked out at the concert, and you became my guitarist hero, then and still are. Love the "guitar" I saw you playing on youtube. I have a mahogany SGS hanging on my wall, which reminds me of the wild and crazy dayze of Pur. haze , and sunshine. I will never let go of those dayze or the mindset. Whenever I'm feelin' a little restless and rebellious, I turn you on and all else subsides. Now that is some pretty powerful music. Never learned your style, but was able to pick up some of the bluez chords you played at the last concert I attended in Shreveport LA, as I was as close as one could get to the stage. Still play those chords.Canada has turned out some legendary musician's and that is where I place your guitar playing-as legendary. You put your heart and soul into your playing, and that my friend is what makes legends. Peace, Love , and Rock-n-roll...

HI Frank. Glad to see you still up, and out playing. Saw you at Bogarts in Cincinnati back in the early 80s, would like to see you play their again real soon. You're one of the most out standing players of this time. I've got to catch up on some of your albums. Keep up the good work.smile

Hello Frank, I would just like to thank you for keepin on. You and I have kicked around some of the same dirt, I grew up in Ville St Laurent a suburb of Montreal. I got a chance to see you at Belmont Park, and also in Buffalo New york, I guess I'm aging myself. I'm so glad you're doing so well, Hopefully you'll be doing a tour out west. Take care of yourself and once again thank you.

crazy At the age of 19 I saw Mahogany Rush play 3x at a place called the Rivoli Theater in one year. After the 1st time, I stood in front of Frank the next 2x and could not believe my eyes!! I am blessed to have witnessed Franks guitar wizardry not only these few times, but a total of 12, having stood in front of him 8x. On Oct. 2, 2002 Kool 101.9 had M.R. play at a place called 8 Seconds Saloon for a free show in Indy. Frank played nonstop for 4 hours and what a show it was! On July 21st, 2007 a buddy and I traveled from Indy to Pittsburg to see M.R. play at a Blues Fest and what a day it was. Great weather, great music, and a small crowd. As I stood next to the fence looking at Frank talking to some fans, he took the time to walk over to me and take a picture of us. After 35+ years, I still listen to him every day. Thanks Frank for the music & memories! MEATBALL

It was my privilage to see Frank last Oct. 2007 here in Nashville. In my opinion he is one of the top guitarists around. I hope he comes back or at least plays some place within driving distance.

I like your music but you caused my girlfriend to break up with me in 1978. You were scheduled to perform in Odessa but canceled the show at the last minute leaving her pissed off that we drove 2 hours for nothing. Oh well, she was a bitch, maybe I'll forgive you someday and buy some music off of iTunes smile Good luck bro...

I've known you since I was a teenager in high school.
You are a virtuoso guitarist, and one of my favorites.
I will turn 47 this year 2008.
Rock on!

I bought "Child of the Novelty" when it first came out just because I liked the cover and artwork. That's how I was buying albums at the time. Turned out to be one of my best albums and really appreciated Frank Marino's music. Never knew of Frank at all until then. I am somewhere else now with my music appreciation but I still like Franks music very much. My appreciation in music is Praise & Worship music for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God Bless you Frank and keep on being you love.
