Frank,I first heard Strange Universe for the first time too in the spring of 75' just like Willy, well I was out in Tulsa Oklahoma visting my sister and was hanging at a headshop called The OZ! and the people there had Mahogany Rush posters up on the wall and was playin the album Loud and Proud! And I have Absolutely been Fuckin blown away with everything about you and your talent approach to song writing and Incredible Guitar playing and great stage presence ever since.
I too have seen you approx. a couple of dozen times in St. Louis Mo.
since the 70's...Frank remember way back in early 74 playing down in Arnold Mo. at Concerts South? To this day everytime my wife and I drive by there I think about you and that possibly the first time you played in the St. Louis Area. I also met you a couple times when you played in downtown St. Lou,you were very Cool and humble,I would like to talk to you again , well maybe just a dream but I'd love for you to come down to my area and Jam with me and friends! That would be the best thing I could ever possibly imagine,I also started playing guitar again, bought me a studio Les Paul and a Dual lead 2000 Marshall 2 years ago.wish the Hell I never ever stopped playin years ago.I'm the same age as you and I really did start playing when I was just 8 years old but then quit when I turned 16, I guess so I could mess around with Hotrods back then, still kickin myself in the Ass for doin that,oh well I guess its never to late to start up again,I'm like you , I live and breath MUSIC.....Again please think about what I said about the INVITE ,
I know you are very Busy but please e-mail me.
Best Regards.......................Butch Wyrick.....

Hi Frank,

keep up the good work and greetings from Finland, especially from my friend Pada , who saw you perform in Finland (Provinssirock) in '93 and got your autograph on his T-shirt after the gig. He hasn't washed the shirt since! Pada himself is quite a guitar player and regards you as the best of them all. I must say that I can't totally disagree.

Best regards, Risto

When Cal/Jam II aired on TV, it exposed many bands that became/were album orientated rock artists. When FM&MR performed, they were of a different era and genre. The distortion, fuzz, flange, reverb… of Frank’s performance was mesmerizing. At that point, I had a reason to purchase my first album. I covet the 78’ live album to this day. You are my first concert experience and first album, thank you Frank. Over 30+ years of vinyl, 8–tracks, cassettes and CD’s.

Thank you for all the great music over the years. I have been a fan since the mid seventies. I saw you at Giants stadium about 1978 . It was you , Journey, Ted Nugent , and Aerosmith . You blew them all away. We all thought they should have let you play longer. Then I saw you at the Palladium in Manhattan, you were the headliner there . That was the best concert I ever saw, period. You were great ! Like I said before THANK YOU again for all the great music.

Sincerly
Mike Gallo

Have been a fan since in my late teens. I will soon be 47. I am a fellow musician (percussion) although I have not played in a band since my first child was born some 19 years ago. My first and still favorite album is Strange Universe. Given to me by my very dear friend Doug Reed when I was 14 or 15 years old. He had of course been the person to turn me on to Frank and Mahogany Rush. I thought Land of 1000 Nights is one of the hardest rock tunes ever written. To this day I think it's just a great rocker. Moonlight Lady shows great versatility, I like jazz anyway from my high school stage band days. Keep on rockin' Frank. I'll be a fan always.

Frank, Thank you so much for sharing your musical ability with us. I was listening to you 23 years ago at age 15. I have been playing guitar for only two years, and I cant think of anything else that I would be willing to limitless time into. I only wish I had more time. I play daily, but my progress is slow going. I hope that one day I can see you play St. Louis, MO. You have a large fan base here. This is a great blues / rock n roll community. You would certainly be welcomed with a sell out crowd. Thanks for your web site. I wish, as a intermediate guitarist, that I could find some tablature for your unbelievable guitar work.
PS Red House WOW.
