FAVORITE ALBUM ?! - MAN, WHAT A TOUGH QUESTION - IT WAS A CLOSE RACE BETWEEN WHATS NEXT, JUGGERNAUT AND POWER OF ROCK AND ROLL. FRANK MARINO IS UNQUESTIONABLY ONE OF THE ALL TIME MASTERS.

I was born in 1965, and bought my first Hog Rush album in 1977. I've been hooked ever since. I hadn't seen the band, but the music blew me away. When a clip of the band at Cal Jam II came on the midnight special, that was it. I went out and bought the 8-track of the concert and I have an original promo copy of the concert LP too. I have two grown kids and one in high school, so I missed Frank when he came to town last, but I'm looking foreward to getting a chance to see him play in the future. From one guitar player to another, good music, good playing!

I have most of your albums and love to listen to you play the guitar. I still listen to my LP's from time to time to remember the past of getting high and listening to your music. Thanks.

I just want to say that as soon as I bought Mahogany Rush Live I went out and bought a guitar and said to hell with radio crap forever! I never achieved the level of expertise that Frank did on guitar but I still enjoy playing to this day. Mahogany Rush is a big influence on my musical direction in life. Rock on! Brian Krueger

I was born in '71 and discovered M.R. in '91. I love Frank and his music because it unlocks forgotten thoughts, feelings and imaginations that I once experienced very early in life, early '70s. God bless ya, Buddy

Been a fan since around '76. It never bothered me how much Frank was compared to Jimi. I look at it this way; (since I love Jimi Hendrix), Frank has taken a similar "language" to new and interesting places. Therefore, I get to enjoy more of what I like. I am told that Strange Universe's production is a hefty achievement considering the sophistication of recording gear at the time. I still don't hear much these days that has as much richness AND heaviness. Anyway, I am pleased to see there's continuing interest in Frank Marino/Mahogany Rush. Unless you're looking for info, one would assume he dried up and blew away. Record stores here in Portland NEVER carry any of his music. Sholeovizhammy

Are you kidding? I love every album on the list. I have to admit I don't have world anthem, juggernaut, & what's next. But I want to say thank you to Frank for answering my email, my friends & family were amazed. I have to tell you, other musicians have not! I love Ronnie Montroses' albums also. Your web site is really professional. All I can say is "I'm not worthy!" a rip off of Mike Meyers. If you know what eye mean... But seriously, Frank, Thank the good lord above for his wisdom in creating you. Your music is incredible, and is obviously touched by he that makes us so. But thank you so much for enriching my life and so many other's! THANK YOU! Michael Grammens formerly of Sonoma, Ca. "Valley of the Moon" as it is called

I see you have many fans here on the East Coast. I haven't seen you play in almost a decade now and I think it's high time to come out and play. Eye of the storm was a treat and I'm always ready for a new Frank Marino Jamborino. Stay Well - Steve
