I have to call Mahogany Rush IV my favorite simply because it was my first introduction to Frank Marino. A friend turned me onto him back in seventy-whatever (failing memory with advanced age...sigh...) and I was transported by songs such as "Dragonfly" and "Moonwalk". I promptly began adding Mahogany Rush albums to my collection and cherished them. When my entire record collection was lost to fire a few years back, I thought that would be the last I would ever hear of Frank Marino because it had been many years since I last heard of any releases from him and I did not even know if I would be able to find any cd releases of his old stuff. I'm much relieved to find that he still has a large and loyal fan base and is (presumably, not having yet visited much of this site) still both alive and performing. I suppose that a diehard music fan would not have ever lost touch, but I'm just not the fanatical type. To show, however, just how much Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush mean to me, when I recently began to do p2p downloading, they were fourth on my mind (for vintage groups) behind only Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Robin Trower. And knowing now what I do, I'm going to begin scouring the non-mainstream and used CD shops to reform my lost collection. Finally, I don't travel much these days, but If Frank ever plays within a three-hour drive of the Tampa Bay area, be assured that I will me among the throng. Good luck, Frank in your continuing career. Tom Ixtlanigo
