I'd like to know if I could get a cd of (Strange Universe)? I've talked about this album to my son and I can't seem to get a hold of it anywhere! If you could sell me one I would appreciate it deeply! sincerely speaking; Bob

About that record.I`ve played it so many times so it`s almost worn out.I think that Frank Marino is a hell of a guitarist.I mailed a question to a swedish music magazine "Fuzz" for them to make an interview or something with Frank.Luckely he came to Sweden in 2002 (i think) so they did the interview and saw him play. I bought the magazine and read that they where very surprized by his guitarplaying. It almost sounded that they`ve never heard of him before and asked them self "Where have this guy been".I Think we do really need a nother guitarman like Jimi Hendrix in this "musicworld" because the most of the music of to day really sucks. Thanks Frank !!!!!!!!!!!! I`m almost as young as you (Born -56 and playing guitar in a band.I´ve been playing since -71)

Please Welcome Frank Marino and Mahogany Rushhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Enduring. Essential Band... Guitar player, Bass and Drums. Recently I have bin' going more Gibson and getting into Franks guitar vibe. I buy your CD's Frank, and cause I am 4 years older than you, and have been a Fan since about 1981...I end up givin em' away to yonger Guitar Players...and your playing blows em' away! I really appreciate your band members and as a musician know how important thier part is. Anyhow you are a master guitar player and have cultivated an incredible sound...up there with Jimi, Stevie, Eric, Carlos, and Alvin (Lee) and myself! Luck and prosperity. Sunny

I bought "Child of the Novelty" because the cover was so interesting. I'd heard of Mahogany Rush but had never heard their music. I was totally blown away by it! I was only 14 at the time, but i knew a guitar god when heard one. I avidly bought each new MR album as soon as it came out. Some of my favorite song include : "Strange Universe", "IV The Emperor", "Try for Freedom", "It's begun to Rain", (Beautiful Song!), "A New Rock and Roll", that's just a few of many more. I wish that i'd seen you in concert but it never happened. I did see you on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, the same show that Black Sabbath was on. What a show! I also dearly love Sabbath. Countless critics and their ilk have called you a rip-off of Jimi Hendrix. They are clueless! Sure, you sounded like Jimi, what's wrong with that? So does Robin Trower and so did Stevie Ray. As far as i'm concerned, all three blow Hendrix away! Sorry Jimi fans. The Gibson SG, is their a better guitar on earth. I don't think so. I have 1969 in glossy walnut. It's my true love. She is beautiful. That's about it i think. I'll check this site regularly in the future. Thanks for making my life happier by sharing your awesome and other-worldly gift. KEEP SHREDDING! ps-- You were shredding years before that term was invented!

Hi there Frank. I listen to your awsome sounds since 1976 and I still listen very, very often. My son Mark, alomost nine, likes it also (smile)! All your other albums are also great, but my #1 song is still Door of illusion. I've never seen you playing live, but I hope I will some day (soon). So when you are in the 'neighbourhood', please let me know. Lookin forward to your new album!!!

Been a fan since the late seventies. Frank and his band are one of the great secrets in rock 'n roll history, but there are legions are loyal fans who remember and still listen to all the great material they have put out. Only two questions--why ask such a tough question as "favorite album," and when are you are tour next? Regardless, the answers are "I'll buy it" and "I'll be there!" Rock on!

I saw Frank twice in 1978. I was at Curtis Hixon hall at which some of that album was recorded. Never forgot it. I would get everyone I could to listen. Still do. I had two copies stolen from me. Shows you how good it was and still is. Frank, please make a trip down south! Thanx for having this site.
