I first heard your music from a friend in High school (early eighties). Your drummer taught me some good back beat cymbal work, ( i am a drummer ). When I sing with my band I try to sound like you. Im glad your coming back! Steve Vai aint got nothing on you!

although i dont go back & listen to too many of my fav's when i was a kid, a few frank cd's still creep into my listening rotation. the ability to effect change as well as accept it is the mark of a great musician. although the guitar solo may be dead(maybe for a good reason) frank's apparent devotion to his art stands far above any of his contemporaries. u gotta love it. if anyone knows of the whereabouts of my former friend & devoted FM/MR fan Mark DiMartino of westchester illinois-tell him to email me-or call collect.

I have been and still am a very, very big fan of Frank. Myself and a couple of my friends would like to see you perform live in Philadelphia maybe at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside or Tower Theatre at 69th Street. It's been a long, long time since the last time you were around here. Hope to see you soon in the area.

Frank - Greetings Frank . I hope all is well in your life and career . It is good to find a quality website featuring you and your music . Willy must be the coolest ! Flashback : Tuesday Night , April 1st. , 1980 - The Kiel Auditorium - St. Louis , Missouri " The April Fools Day Jam ! " ANGEL Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush Humble Pie Mother's Finest Wow ! What a damn good show that was all the way around ! Loud and psycho crowd to match ! Sold Out 10,000 strong ! Man , I was hooked ! I bought Mahogany Rush " Live " shortly thereafter and its one on my all-time favorite albums . I was 17 . I remember seeing you previously on one of the rare late night telecasts of Cal Jam II . I bought that album as well . Totally impressive ! Flash forward to June , 1986 . The Westport Playhouse in St. Louis . This is a small intimate theatre in the round . You played there with Ronnie Montrose . I met a couple guys from the Ronnie Montrose band and I think I met your brother . He took my vinyl copy of Tales Of The Unexpected backstage with him and came back a short time later with the cover autographed by you . After all these years I just want to say THANKS ! Thanx for your time and all the killer music you give to the world . Cheers to you , W. L. Brown

I'd lost track of Frank Marino over the years until I saw a copy of the last album in a record shop in Newcastle, England. I've only seen M.R once, that was in 1978 I think, at the Newcastle City Hall supported by Lone Star (inc. Paul chapman later of UFO and John Sloman later of Uriah Heep).I was too drunk to see them when they supported Motorhead and Ozzy at the Port Vale festival(I can't remember the year!)I'll get the CD when I have enough brass in my pocket(its quite expensive even by Brit terms!)Keep rockin' Frank! How about trying to do a summer festival slot in the UK?

I listen to your music since my early age'cause my ciousins used to. You'd played at Ahuntsic park. I was too young to go there but I've heard you playing in the park even if I was at home (cause I lived near). And my love to your music began that night. Now I'm in the 30s and I still love your music. You're the best! When I was 19 years old, I took bass lessons from Paul Harwood. It was great! Thanks Frank...
