Everytime Frank Marino , Ritchie Blackmore or Ronnie Montrose jam, Hendrix is literally blown away off a cloud . Been following Frank since ' 82 when a buddy turned me on to "juggernaut" . Went out after that and purchased all Marino on vinyl and still till this day (i'm 38) spin them on my turntable ! Long live Frank Marino...Deep Purple / Rainbow , Montrose , UFO ....TURN IT UP !!!

Hey Frank! Hard to believe first I signed this guest book back in 1997. Talked to you on the chat room before anyone else. Willy confirmed it was really you cause none else knew about your PC habit. Worked on defeating Grand funk on the most under-rated guitar player contest. Waited impatiently for 3 YEARS for a new album. Flew to Montreal for the renunion gig 2000. Drove to Montreal from CA for Club Soda 2001. What a trip Man. As far as I am concerned you have been the best kept secret of the 19th century. I believe that there is a reason for it. That being so we can still Rock and Roll in the 20th century. But....I have a sneaky feeling that you might be Beethoven!! The last show was Incredibly Awsome Man. Your Band is HOT!!! Sounded like Zappa on the Bass Jam. Your DRUMMER is AWESOME and the addition of the RYTHYM to your leads is magical. 4 Hours of which most was original tunes. I have a bad taste for religion.. but I truly believe their is a GOD! I witness and feel a spiritual experience every time I see the band. Along with the journey involved getting to a show. Sorry that the past has robbed you of your Identity..but It has given us one of our own! We realize it has always been you FRANK! You are a gift to us all. I look forward to next time after you guys thaw out up there in Canada. I hope having to stay in gives you the BLUES so you can do that album... eh hoser? Your Friend in CA., Dale

I started lisening to Mahogany Rush in 1974. I was 14. Now I'm 41! To my ears Child Of The Novelty and Strange Universe truly stand up to the test of time. Back in the those days some would say Frank was 'just' a jimi clone. Its like as soon as they hear someone using effects that jimi used they cant get beyond that. Frank is pretty much an original.I cant think of any one who has used the sounds begun by jimi in such a creative way as frank has.T hank you for eye of the storm its really good. Maybe you will come down to Albany sometime. Peace.

Favorite song with vocals: King who stole the Universe. I listened to it the other night and realized how timeless it is yet how fitting for these turbulent times. Favorite song instrumental: Poppy I will never forget the one and only concert I saw with Frank Marino at the Bachanal in San Diego, CA. My ears hurt so bad I had to go outside! But I could appreciate the talent that I was witnessing. My husband has been a devoted fan since he was a young kid growing up in Des Moines, Iowa. I had never heard of you until I met my husband, but I do appreciate talent when I hear it. Best motivational song: I'm gonna ride my own wave!!!

Surely, this must be a man of God...fav.album actually a toss-up between this and "What's Next". Would truly like to see A show done at the Slippery Noodle here in Indy...we'll be waiting...

I saw Frank in Flint, Michigan, in the late '70's, at ATWOOD Stadium. I'm trying to get photos of this show, as I was in one that was released, ( possibly ) to The Flint Journal. Does anyone know if there is a version of " The Devil's Screaming " available ?

Thanx for the autographed cd Frank. My brother had phoned me after the new york disaster six hours after it happened. I was listening to eye of the storm and the lyric "the end is near" went by just as i was told about the disaster. That really blew my mind. I felt as though God spoke to me through your lyrics on that song. its true. Please come back to Toronto soon Frank we love your music. It is very deep into your soul. It shows that you love what you are doing , that is the difference . God Bless you and your family, sincerely Tom Alexiou.

HI Frank,I am so glad you are back. When I went to the CD stores over the years, I never saw any new music from you, and wondered what happened to you. Today I found "Eye of the Storm", and when I listened to it, it took me back to the mid 70's. I was in my early 20's and you were my favorite guitarist. I must say I immediatly recognized your song writing style and sound, still great, just sounds more modern. I think more young guitarist who are learning, need to become aware of you, and hear more of your music. Great to see you are back.

My friends and I were discussing all of the great Rock and Roll that is impossible to find on CD while, in a great waste of Lexan plastic, our music store shelves are filled with boy bands, rap, and a lot of really bad music. We broke out my albums and dusted off Juggernaut, What's Next, Live and TOTU. It is wonderful that just typing your name into a search engine brings me here and brings me up to date on you and what you're doing. I will be buying up a lot of your CDs. Hey, we have a great club called the Showbox here in Seattle and I would be more than willing to hang signs, help with promoting, etc. if you ever get this way for a show. I've never had the pleasure of seeing you live because the 78 show here with Priest was cancelled for some reason... Now I look forward to doing so someday.

I first heard your music overseas while stationed in the phillipines at a friends party in the late eighties. It was a tape he made from many of your albums that he had. Anyway, I was blow away with the whole sound and immediately got a copy of the tape. Since then I have been buying your music whenever I could find it. Great guitar player and band whose music is interesting whenever it's listened to. Thanks
