Frank is, undoubtedly, THE GUITAR GOD. After witnessing his 3hr+ show at Spectrum last year I was completely mesmerized ....and meeting him after that show was just the ultimate. Having just migrated from Scotland it was the 1st time ( I'm sad to say ) I had seen him live ...I knew he was THE BEST but after the show I could not believe anyone could be SO GREAT. The new cd is magnificent ...as are your others too. Just hope Frank you recall speaking to the 2 Scots (my wife Catriona and I ) and I will always remember your words " wow, it's like speaking with Braveheart !" Keep rocking Frank ...hope your No1 fan gets to meet you again ! Get to Calgary !

Frank, Thanks to you- for keeping "true" music going during an era when music is becoming very negative & tasteless. I love all of your soulful albums, but the one that really made it's mark on me which we played every night from the day it came out is "What's Next" (Oh the memories!) So tasteful & inspiring even after all these years. "You've got Livin" - says it all! Our 3-piece band still plays your tunes. Love those leads on "Finish Line" and the heads really turn during that one! It's guys like you that keep us constantly striving for a higher level of musicianship. Thanks for everything. P.S. Did you ever get your wrench back from the mysterious

Frank, glad to see you back at it. A friend and I were talking about our favorite bands from the late mid to late 70's and you were spotlighted right away. We were not sure where to look for you so I took to the Internet and there you were. We both loved strange universe but it looks like it will be a challenge to find it on anything. I'd die if I happened to find it on an 8-track and if I did I would go buy an 8-track player out of an antique store just relive the good times.I saw you at Cal Jam and I think it was St.louis Keel auditorium way back around the time I was able to legaly drive a car! If it was not in St.louis it was in the same area but it could have been over in Illinois. Anyhow, I'm glad I found your site and buy all means keep up making music. You are much respected in my crowd and have always been one of my favorite Guitarists. Take Care, Jeff...Reno, NV

I saw Frank at the HOB on 8/16 and at the Shank Hall on 8/17. I was totally blown away both times. He's the living guitar god, and there's no doubt for it. I have seen bunch of so-called GREAT guitarists like E. Clapton, J. Beck, J. Page, P. Townshend, P. Green, R. Blackmore, W. Hanes, and so on so forth..., but Frank, you are the man of men! I can't even describe how great you are. I wish I could see all the rest of shows in Canada... but not this time unfortunately. I'm sure I won't forget the excitement I got from the shows I saw... by the time I see you again someday somewhere. Thanks Frank!! Both shows I saw were just darn fantastic! I wish I could find better words to describe how superb he was... wink lol Again, Thanks Frank and Good Luck on the rest of shows! Heeday

Just experienced Frank live for the first time at Shank Hall here in Milwaukee, last Friday August 17. There is no other living guitarist I know of that plays with the passion of Mr. Marino. He ran the gamut of style, subtlety , ferocity, etherial, whisper, hammer, razor,on and on for almost three hours. I could have fed on much more. I phoned my son in L.A. the next day and instructed him that if Mahogany Rush makes its way to southern California he must go to see them, no excuses! He is the base player in a band recently signed to a 2 record deal with Atlantic records. They are currently recording with Howard Benson for their debut release sceduled for the end of January 2002. I am hoping to expose these guys to Frank's prowess in the not to distant future. Wishing you success and please keep Milwaukee on the future tour list.

Saw your last two shows in Buffalo. You are a true showman and an awesome guitarist.I've been to hundreds of concerts dating back 26 years and I have yet to witness anyone who can come close to your talent and showmanship.I think you are pretty well received where I live and I hope you kep coming back,as the Tralfamadore is an excellent venue for you.I have been a fan since I first heard Strange Universe back in 1975 or 1976,I believe.I will be ordering Eye of the Storm and anything else you come out with. The music today sucks and seeing guys like you that have been around since the 70's still making awesome music makes me glad I grew up listening to music like yours. It also makes me sad that my kid is exposed to the bullshit nonsense that is out there today, and not to music such as yours.I have tried to influence her, but,at 20 years old and peer pressure being what it is today,it is unlikely that my kid will carry on my taste for good music.Anyway, your live show is second to none and I hope to see you again soon!

Have been a huge Frank Marino fan since 1975. Saw Mahogany Rush live twice in El Paso, Tx. The last time was supporting Nazareth in 1980. Caught Frank & the band last night at Shank Hall (from the great film "Spinal Tap"). What a show!!!! He played until 1:30AM. Still the best rock guitarist ever! Thanks Frank & band for a wonderful time. Come back to Brew Town soon.

I received my personalized copy of the new CD and am enjoying it. I am also enjoying your interviews as well. I hope that you can come to Northern CA sometime. From your interview it looks as though I will need to do some pavement pounding and see if there is a promoter that would put you in a venue. I hope so. I know of others in the area that would love to see you play. One of the success story bands out of Sacramento is the band Tesla. I know that their guitar player Frank Hannon is a big fan because he plays your music at the Sacramento clubs when he is doing projects other than Tesla. Just keep doing what you are doing. It is great to hear from a guy that has been through bars to stadiums and back and is still enjoying the heck out of what he is doing. I started playing guitar at the age of 12. I then saw you on television at the California Jam 2 concert. I went out and bought the Live album and flipped out. I still often think of your style when I am soloing on stage today. (You know... steal a little from here, borrow a little from there... make it your own!) It is fun to see where I can put some agressive melodic guitar stuff in to a jazz standard. Lastly, you are the number one guy that I want to see live. I have seen just about all of my guitar heroes except you.
