Frank,! Thanx for the explanation on the meaning of the lyric's in the tune "Something's Commin'our way". I alway's thought it was about the "end time's" when every knee shall bow on "Judgement Day." I think I got pretty close on the meaning. FRANK, please play "Ain't Dead yet" live sometime in the future, either on tour or on another live disc.I would also "LOVE" to hear the following tune's live:"Finish Line", "Maybe It's Time", "Tales Of The Unexpected", "Tryin' Anyway", "Tale's Of The Spanish Warrior". These tune's would be unbelievable with a Keyboardist!! "Armed with sword's of riteousness so razor sharp and narrow, we'll sink the blade's into their flesh, into their very MARROW!!!"

Dear Frank, I remember the first time I saw you on KTTV 11, I was 14 years old when you played at the California Jam concert. I bought the album and practiced playing everyday and then you disappeared, I think we need to hear from you again and I think a gig at the House of Blues in Hollywood would be great. Please consider this, talk to Dan Ackroyd or someone down there and come play for us. I'll be there!!!!! Sincerely Anthony Roche The Fan who never forgets a Great Guitarist!!

First heard Frank in 1976 when IV was released.Soon after saw Mahogany Rush at the Houston Music Hall for $1.01,a KLOL (101) Radio promotion. What a mind opener! I quickly located Child of the Novelty and Strange Universe. Had a hell of a time finding Maxoom, went on pilgrimage to every used record store in the state and found it in Dallas, 5 years later. I found it hard to believe Frank was 15 or 16 playing and writing music like this? I really appreciate the mix of jazz and blues runs throughout the the early albums and hope to see more on new albums (CD's). I've seen other shows in Houston, Dallas, and Ft. Worth and buy every new CD when released. The Blues Bureau and I.R.S. No Speak recordings were a welcome suprise. Thanks for the many years of great music and inspiration. Hope to see a Sacramento tour soon!

I have been a fan since my friend Brent Rackey turned me on to you in 1982. I MUST GET "The Power of Rock and Roll" on album since CD is unavailable (serious sentimental value and memories...I've been trying to find the thing for 5 years!). Can I order it though this page? Glad to know this exists and Frank Marino is getting just recongnition. FRANK RULES...Thanks.

Seriously Frank,I have spent forever wondering what happened to you and where the heck you were hiding. Those of us,the few and steadfast recognized a long time ago that you were a real genius, and a gifted guitarist without peers.I would love to see you live, that would be the only concert I would like to see. Since getting away from the party and drug scene a long time ago,I gave up the music scene, too many imposters with too little talent.I have however, always been able to feel your music in my soul, needing no outside influence to appreciate it.Thanks for the gift of your talent, please share some more of it with us Signed,DWS

Excellent comments on Randy Hansen and the Blues Issue. You hit the nail right on the head. This site seems like a great venue for you to express your ideas which were so clearly misunderstood in te press over the course of your career. I will start looking for the Bryan Lee album here. Thanks for taking the time Frank to interact with the fans. You music grows more legendary with each new post. Rock on. PS: Please play Land of 1000 Nights on the next tour. I have never heard a version of this live. Also please play We Ain't Dead Yet. This has to be absolutely the most ferocious tune you ever wrote.

The Mahogany Rush LIVE release had some of the most wikked guitar sounds ever. I'm always turning friends on to the album. I've even done a little advertising via one of my prank calls that will bring M.R. into the 90's spotlight. Check out "Bass Player Wanted" at the Touch Tone Terrorists audio page.

One of the finest shows I ever saw was at Toronto's Massey Hall featuring Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush along with the late Rory Gallagher.

I was a die-hard "Jimi" fan and couldn't believe my ears when I put that needle down into the grooves of "Strange Universe".I subsequently went through two copies of this album over the years , and am looking forward to purchasing that cd of the first three albums. To Frank: I really enjoyed reading about the big giutar showdown with Nugent -he's a great player who I have always liked (very fast and technically proficient) . But , in my opinion, what sets you apart from him is your high level of genuine creativity combined with a lot of soul. May sound corny or cliched , but that's how I see it - Hendrix stood out because of it - and so do you. Thanks for listening.

Great page devoted to a great musician! Frank- your songcraft is as important to me as your playing and i think both are fantastic. I'm dying to find What's Next,Power of R'R and others on CD- any word on when they will be released? Also can't wait for a new CD and your tour. I missed you twice at The Bayou in Wash. DC-= both shows cancelled. Were you sick? I just wish to hell i could play even remotely close to your style and sound. Best of luck- drop me a note if you can. Thanks! Jeff Brown

Frank, I have all your recordings and then some! Have seen you 11 times, once backstage 1989 in Boston. I had a very old SG with me but it was a SG Special ( p 90 pickups ) remember ? anyway.. I'd like to tell you how much you have influenced me. If it wasn't for you I could never play jazz I learned the end of It's begun to rain, pieces of Look at me, pieces of Tryin anyway, & all that neat stuff in King Bee. I had a friend paint the Strange Universe artwork on a 1965 Melody maker , it was stolen about 12 yrs ago ( it looked awsome ! ) At one time I played tribute to you where I played guitar on my answering machine greeting,,somthing real similar to Electric Reflections. Besides the jazz I was influenced by your Rock Blues style also. I remember once I designed a tremelo bar & I sent you one ( around 1979 ) I love what you write about, alot of reality, and some fantasy, not like many of the writers today, there is too much hate & violence it todays lyrics. My bands used to play out live the following : Dragonfly Man at the backdoor, Talkin bout a feelin, King bee, many times we would open up with A new rock n roll ! I have a very old Corvette , I may get a license plate MRUSH... (that is my e-mail name, mrush@erols.com ) I just sent a coulpe of good questions to the website. Looking forward to the new CD, & hoping to see the show if you get near, or come to Boston. Hope you get this message, as your music means alot to me & I know you have a genuine & honest appreciation towards your fans. Thank you so much, Rob Bizzozero
