I've been listening to frank marino & mahogany rush since 1982. I was only 5 yrs. old! I am not joking, this is true!! Anyway, I have always enjoyed his music and awesome guitar licks. But, my brother-in-law is one of his biggest fans He has all of his albums, all on vinyl, cassette, and CD!! I hope to see FM&MR one day in concert. If you read this Frank, come on down to Texas so I can see you in action!! From a Great Fan in deep South Texas Cesar Ramirez 9-28-97

I like the album "Juggernaut". Is this ever going to be released on cd? If it has already been released, where can I find it? The production quality is what really caught my attention. Good luck and I hope to see you play Cleveland real soon.

I bought one of my first rock recordings on 8 track of Frank live after seeing Cal Jam 2 on TV. I then got maybe 5 other albums some of which I have since lost. If you truley read visit this site all I can tell you is that I have seen every great gunslinger from Van Halen,SRV,Via,Satriani,Page,Travers etc. and as a guitarist of over 20 yrs I can say that you are the very best ever.I don't know why you are not as active as you used to be but as long as your life is good you should know that you still CRUSH people every day.

Frank, I can't play a note on my guitar without being influenced by you! I've only gotten to see you live once. I've never been the same! Please tour! I have found only a couple of " bootleg " tapes of you , they ROCK! My own bands have played numerous FM & MR tunes. The crowds love em. Lets jam some time!

What can I say! Frank Marino belongs to the the hand-full of guitarists that need only to take ONE note on the guitar to be recognized! Since the first time I heard him I've been caught with his sensitive as well as powerful playing and singing. I really like the way you mix jazzinfluences with blues and hard-ass-kicking-rock 'n' roll, Frank. Let me be 'frank' with you: keep up the good work and release a blues-album. Who could to it better than Frank Marino!!!

The first time I ever heard Mahogany Rush was in 1978 when they opened for Aerosmith at the Coliseum in Macon, Georgia. I was really just prepared to endure this opening band so that I could see my favorite band, Aerosmith. However, when Frank Marino and the band tore into the opening song, I was absolutely blown away. I could not believe how tight, hard, heavy and loud they were. The drummer, Jim Ayoub, was hitting the drums so hard I could feel every lick, and Marino's guitar was mindblowing. My friend Greg leaned toward me and yelled, "After this, Aerosmith's gonna suck!" And, yeah, after Mahogany Rush's massive set, Aerosmith pretty much did suck. The next day, I bought the LIVE cassette and listened to it constantly until it basically dissolved in my tape player.

Saw you in '88 in philly. you did a monster Doors medley. The drummer was incredible... during his solo he got out from beind his kit and played the mike stand and any other object he could tap on without missing a beat. you had to see it to know what I'm talking about. anyway my favorite song is DITCH QUEEN! (she knows it ain't her mind that's deep). NEW MUSIC PLEASE!

Last week I found a tape of the 'LIVE' album that I used to play to death about ten years ago, and guess what, I'm playing it to death again! Sure reminds me of some great times. If you're ever over in the U.K. it would be nice to hear you here in dear old Wales - there will be a welcome in the hillsides. Ask Len Jones from Port Dinorwig, North Wales to jam, I'm sure he'd be up for it. Nice one and Diolch yn Fawr!! Dic

love this page!!!! first saw frank marino in '79 .opened for ted nugent at boston garden and i was truly blown away!!! the power generated is outta this world, truly sends chills up my spine. i know frank gets criticized for "overuse of pedals" etc. screw em all!! however he does it, frank marino is the most powerful live concert experience ever and that's to his credit!! i've seen frank 5 times, mostly in san antonio (last time in '86 at sunken garden theatre with ronnie montrose. i had the opportunity to interview him once in san antonio when writing a feature for a local free rock and roll publication. in addition to talking music, frank and paul harwood were also talkin hockey (big canadiens fans, i'm from boston). can't wait for the new cd and lookin forward to touring info and seeing him in dallas, s.a., houston, austin and all points elsewhere!!! favorite abum is "power of rock and roll" favorite song is "land of 1000 nights". hard to choose though, such a wide range of musical talents (blues influences, jazz influences and rock in between. keep up your music frank. there are tons of fans who love you and look forward in all sincerity to your new music and live appearances. paul j.

I first had F.M. & M.R. on 8 track. Thats how long ago I dug the band. (That also shows how damn old I am). I now have the CD and still consider it the pride of my collection. I am glad to hear that he's still around. I was wondering about him and Alvin Lee. I will get out to see the band when they make it out this way.

I'll be checking this page for any replys. Comeon, we need your music again. The world is in deep shit because of the music we are exposed to. Save the world. Make more music.
