Saw Frank 1st time in New York City at Madison Square Garden, he opened for Johnny and Edgar Winter. Talk about a great night for guitar heads. Second time I saw him was in Terre Haute, In the guys I was stationed with wanted to go see some group called Styx and asked if I wanted to go, I said no, then I later found that Frank was opening, I went after the opening act I was ready to go. Frank, Johnny, Jeff Beck and Robin Trower inspired me at the age of 47 to learn to play guitar. Thanks a lot Frank.

I have been a big fan since the early 80's since high school. Frank is one of the most amazing guitarists I have had the pleasure of listening to. I stumbled across a guitar player magazine and saw his name on it with his website which revived my thirst to hear more amazing music. I am thrilled Frank has decided to play and tour more (I missed a show he cancelled in "91 in SLC) I really hope to see the band live this time around if possible. Keep going Frank, you DO have A LOT of fans who have just lost touch with you due to lack of information and, as you say, "life getting in the way!"

I first saw the band in 1974 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois.

Frank and the guys did that show, with Kansas and Queen.

I still vividly remember the show.

After that show me and my buds all went out and bought the first two

Good on you Frank and Mahogany Rush, thanks for getting back to the stage again, you and the band write fantastic rock songs that take it to another level. But PLEASE come to Australia..come to the 2006 East Coast Blues and Roots festival in beautiful Byron Bay NSW.Just bring your gear and personal effects,we will supply the rest. It's one of the world's largest blues and roots festivals, goes for 5 days. You blokes (means guys) would slay 'em, absolutely demolish them. And we would love it!!!

Well I got into your music around the time "Child Of The Novelty"first was released.I loved it then and all these years later still do! What impressed me the most about your music was beyond the record company hype at the time there was great production values, songwriting as well as your tremendous chops at such a young age. With each release it seemed you stayed true to your influences, yet advanced into other styles perfectly.I had lost track there for abit what you had released then picked up "The Power Of Rock And Roll".What a treat that was and still is! A funny story that comes too mind is loaning a guitarist friend my copy of the aforementioned album and explaining to him you were no one trick pony. He wasn't that familuar with your music at the time. After hearing for himself he agreed and began collecting all the albums. So he was going through a divorce at the time and his wife had a habit of throwing his albums around when she was pissed. She grabbed MY copy of The Power Of Rock And Roll that was on loan to him and was already to smash it thinking it was his. when my friend exclaimed "No ! not that one, Eric will kill me!" lol He was right too.

Hey, Frank. I grew up in TMR with you guys, a few years younger. Heard Paul Harwood playing bass in a church many past lives ago; maybe you were there too? First heard you and Mahogany Rush at my high school in Montreal (Loyola) back around 1972-73 and was blown away. Last saw you play when I was living in LA, around 1984-85; the show was broadcast, live I believe, on the radio there. Any thoughts on doing a blues album/CD? Thank you for the years of amazing music.

iT'S SOOO good to hear your voice on cd once again. I saw you at CAL JAM 2 . I stood in awe at you when you performed . I thought: This person is the next JIMI HENDRIX. And when you did the Electric Reflection of war jesus you took my breath away. There has only one band who has ever done this to me and the band name is Hawkwind. As you can see I'm a hard cord Jimi fan and as far as I know your Jimi incarnate in ever since of the word. Got your new real live cd and was very impressed. However , I must say the music just doesn't come a cross like it used to. Something is missing. maybe it's because you have three new members. It was still good to hear the old tunes once again!!!!!

Dear Frank.

I am one of your Japanese fans.
It gave up, and it was ordered in Amazon.com because it didn't obtain it easily though the CD of the mahogany rush live digital Remastered was ordered on the Internet!
It is very much looking forward to receiving your CD which I was listening to at the time of the junior high school student.

Frank Marino, Jim Ayoub, and Paul del Harwood!

My son found this site for me.....I am becoming more and more computer wise in my older days. smile I spoke of Mahogany Rush with my children many times...........I use to make this Cassette tape for my friends and called it, 'More Frank to Crank!'. Funny hey? But I continually would turn my friends on to the band......

Growing up in the Cincinnati area, and being quit the musician myself, playing the club scene, it seemed I was destined for music to be a big part of my life...........well it is.......I enjoy it........

As a young musician at the gae of 15, my older brother took me to see Jimi Hendrix in concert. I was really into the psychodelic thing! Blues Magoos and such.......this was a day that changed my life forever! Man I took my first hit of a 'J'.......the show was mind altering............and I think I have seen nearly every group that toured since that day..........

In 1978 a friend I worked with first played your music to me......I was taken by it immediatly......I could not wait for the day I could see Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush in concerrt...........and I did. I am thinking five times.... But the show in Dayton Ohio's, O'hara Arena was the best show ( concert ) I have experienced in my life! Mother's Finest opened, then a very good, energetic, Humble Pie took stage..........and Then Mahogany Rush!!! Frank, Jim and Paul set the f****** place on fire! I swear! I have seen almost any group imaginable. This show was sincerely the best I had ever seen.

Your music has played a big part in my life........music has a way of doing that for any musician, or anyone who simply loves music!

I sure wish I had my old Tee's from those shows! I wore them and a Frank Zappa shirt endlessly...........

The band members did change as the years passed on, but Frank, Jim, and Paul........you three MEN gave me an evening of music I will never forget!

I wish you all continued success in life and Gods continued blessings. And I thank your families for what I am sure must have been a rough time, traveling as it was even more so in thse days!

Thanks fella's

I hope the day comes I and my son can take in your show!

Ski Vaught..............

Frank,

I was turned on to your music back in 1977 and finally got to see you & MR in the early '80's. You opened for B O C at the Rapid City Civic Center. It was, hands down, one of the best concerts I have ever seen/experienced.

Keep rockin', Brother!
