it,s hard to find fan's in central il.,but when you do,they're big ones!recently switched from 10's to 8's to try & play some FRANK licks more convincingly, but he still kicks my butt!even though I mainly have played country for the last couple of decades,he has been a major influence..especially for the blues!

Double Live 'cause there's a lot of music on it, but "Whats Next" is my fave studio album- great tunes, huge production and a general feel-good vibe make it a classic!

bring back the old lps or cds or even a boxset of all the old school music. Those were the best of all 73/74/75/76/77 these years were black and hard to remember, but I do remember the music of my past and that music was the best.Your music realy meant alot in those black years and now I want to enjoy them clean & sober.Today my thought's are clear and my life is good nothing control's my thought's but me and at 47 that is a good thing.question when are you goimg to put out another cd and is there a tour to follow? If you do,come to houston to play at the woodlands you won't regreat it at all.Theres a station here 93.7 the arrow they do classic concerts all the time and we here in houston Love the classic rock concerts and as for me I'd go to your concert anytime.SEE YOU IN THE FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I nearly feel off my seat when I found this site sitting in Iraq one hot P.M. Was introduced to the band in about '76 by an H.S. buddy of mine (Gordon)who had moved from CA. Had 1 chance to experience the band in Albq., NM in app'x. '77-78 @ the since defunked civic auditorium (where 1 song off the Live album was recorded). I believe the show was a free venue w/ the donation of a can of food. Most people I talk to have never heard of Frank, too bad, if I ever have another chance to here the band again I will surely try not to pass up the opportunity. Thanx 4 agreat web site that brightened up my day. Stay in touch. You too Gordon, if you ever read this message. Ray

I remember seeing Mahogany Rush for the first time at Winterland Arena in San Francisco. I was very luck as I saw every show played by MH at Winterland. I also remember the Day on the Green show, however Bill didn't give him enough time. Great Site

I was always impressed that I read that Frank Zappa was an influence early on. Dragonfly remains one of my favorite songs.

I was introdused to Frank Marino by a friend in 1984, and have been a fan ever since. My favorite song is Someting`s comin` our way. The amazing solo in the end does spesial things to my soul.

I have favorite tracks on all the albums, but I'm a live album aficionado. I'm anxiously awaiting the new live cd set. Go ahead and make it three cd's long, Frank, I'll sure as hell buy it. It would be really great if you could play near Columbus, Ohio sometime. I have two SG's and a Strat, and love your jazzy style.
