I'm sending a message to a guitar god, how crazy is that. Your getting help from a cherub. Your music was my panacea. All the best.

I just linked here from the Dirty Blues website, and it all came back to me. It was the tour that "Mahogany Rush Live" was recorded from, 1970-something, and Frank was opening for Aerosmith in Seattle. I didn't know who Frank was, but as the lights dimmed and Frank took the stage, I sure got a quick lesson. I stood there slack-jawed and completely in awe as this man proceeded to absolutely blow the audience away. By the time it was over I was emotionally spent - completely drained and trying to put into perspective what I had just witnessed; the greatest power-trio arena rock show performance I had ever seen. To say it was anti-climatic when Aerosmith began to play would be an understatement...I walked out, and have been a fan ever since.

Hello Frank!!! I have tried to e-mail you but I don't know if it went through but I just wanted you to know that there is somebody here who really loves your music and would love to have the chance to meet you personally someday. I have been listening to your music for well over 20 years when I was about 17 or 18 years old and I always wanted to have the chance to see you play even possibly see you showing up at my doorstep. That would be a dream that I had for a very long time that would come true before I leave this shitty world. Please e-mail me when you get the chance and let me know if you can ever come and visit here in Missouri,U.S.A. Keep on Rockin' Brother!!

I've heard your version of "King Bee" on a compilation album years ago and then heard your version of "Things that I used to do" on the Hats off to Stevie Ray tribute years later. I thought at both times that you were really a fine musician. It was at that point that I started looking for more of your records and information about you. I have an extensive collection of Guitar Player Mags and found very little written about you. I don't think I've ever heard your music on the radio (even AOR stations). What all this is leading up to is I really enjoy your music and I think it's a shame that you're not, in my opinion, given your due.

Wow, I just found this website and am really glad I did. I was wondering what had become of Mahogany Rush. I saw them twice in the late seventies. Once they headlined in san antonio, texas at the municipal auditorium. Widowmaker opened-they sucked horribly I remember and then Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush came out and kicked ass. I also saw Mahogany Rush in corpus christi, texas. Judas Priest opened. That was one bad ass concert. I would go see Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush if they played in the bay area.

I have been a fan and followed Frank`s career since the early seventies.Had every recording at one time or another and seen him live two or three times way back then.I still remember the Paramount show in Seattle when he played greensleeves for a solo and after running off stage he came back almost instantly like he had just got there and did P.Haze.I am a guitar player and have always identified with franks musical visions.I also went from drugs and later found a loving god and saviour christ JESUS.So in a way I have been intune with Frank one way and now another my whole life.I just had no self confidence so I was a at home jammer but now I do Worship music with the hard rock and blues rock or metal twist at local churches in my area.I`ll meet Frank someday maybe in the next world, after all it is a strange universe!Frank, thanks for all the great music!

Hello, I am an amateur rock rhythm guitarist. Frank Marino is one of my favorite players. In no particular order I also dig Yngwie Malmsteen, Akira Takasaki, Manny Charlton, Ulrich Roth, Tony Iommi (especially 'Seventh Star') and Michael Schenker (early solo albums).
