Thank you Mr.Marino for putting on a lengthy and diversified show last night at the 8 sec saloon(hope the children slept through all the ruckus!)I have seen many musicians in my time and your GUITARABILITY is absolutely incredible.I am still almost speechless as to the performance last night.Just a personal THANKYOU for the time you took last night at the meet and greet after the show...TURN THE AMPS UP AND HIT THE STRINGS LIGHTLY!

I have been a long time and dedicated fan of frank marino, 1973 was the first I heard of Frank Marino 1974 was the first time I saw him live he kicked my ass than and still does.He is still no.1 on my list just befor Rory Gallahger who I have also seen and dearly miss. I am a guitar player and for a while I almost forgot about Frank because I got hung up on blues I almost forgot that my roots and love of the guitar do stem from rock and roll. Like in the ninties I would listin to blues tune after blues tune then suddenly I would remember oh yea Frank Marino, as if he was always playing somewher in my mind but momentarly got lost amungst the clutter. May his music live forever I know it will always live with me

Frank, great website, i am a big fan of your playing, i especially like Strange Universe and Child of the Novelty but Tales and Mahogany Rush are my favourites as well as Whats Next. I like the term Psuedo music press, and i understand why you call them that. I was reading an interview with Robin Trower who said you really had a great sound when he heard you backstage. Do you have ant TAB available as there are some of your solos that i would really like to learn. Keep shredding Frank. I'll be back.

While i and to this day am a religious listener of Deep Purple , Blackmores Rainbow , UFO , Blue Oyster Cult , Kansas , Old Old Aerosmith , Thin Lizzy ...ect , a buddy of mine in 1982 turned me on to "Juggernaut" and from that day Frank Marino has been a staple on my stereo . Have ALL your classic albums on vinyl Frank and STILL spin them on my turntable . Waiting and waiting for you to make a stop here in New Jersey dude .

I, also, have an affinity for drug related rock 'n' roll. Your music as well as other rock musicians from the '60's and '70's, are a major influence in the music I am trying to create. I was introduced to your music by a friend out west and upon returning to Toronto, I decided to collect a few CD's. With the continued help of Q107 I was introduced to stuff like 'Tales of a Spanish Warrior' 'Magic Man' etc. They play your music on a program called Psychadelic Psunday. It airs from 9am to 9pm.(if you do not know) You can log onto it with www.Q107.com When you come to Toronto could you please play 'Buddy','Child of the Novelty' or 'It's begun to Rain'. You are a true guitar virtuoso and I hope to be able to see you 20 years from now as well. Hopefully, old habits die hard.

Saw Mahogany Rush live 3 times in the early 70;s: 1) Centennial Hall, London, Ontario; 2)Centennial Hall again, with Bob Seger as opening act! ("Seger Seven" album tour). Entire setlist that night was Jimi Hendrlix songs, honest! 3) Gryphon Hollow Amphitheatre at St. Clair College, Windsor, Ontario: a free concert, admission was an M&M's candy wrapper! Opening act was Fantacy Hill (spelling correct), their single at the time was "Frisbee," died like a dog! I remember waiting for the bus after the first show, my ears rang for quite some time! Frank is playing St. Andrews Hall in Detroit, MI soon...I'd like to go, depends on night of the week though. Cheers, Steven

long live mr. heath & his awesome guitar solo on "rollin & tumbling" (a song dedicated to his wife) also i want to thank rob bizzero for getting me into frank's music & making me some awesome tapes from his extensive collection. rob is a very cool guy who i worked with for 6 years & we had a good time making fun of our co-workers & talking about music. i've seen him play live at the "dry dock" in hull ma. & it was great. in addition to being a fan of frank & rob i also like heavy metal & gangsta rap & the tv show "dark shadows".
