Frank, i'm a 37 year old guitarist who's been a BIG fan of yours for years I last saw you perform at the Brat Stop here in Kenosha back somewhere around 87' or 88'. I hope that you come back to play there again soon.

I feel that you are one of the last great guitarist.I have been a fan since 1978--I was 14 then and am still amazed at the age of 36 and I still turn people on to your music.YESTERDAY 2/6/2001 I introduced your talent to 3 more younger friends who were for the first time simply "BLOWN AWAY" by the tracks I recorded for them ! I certainly hope you and your band can find your way to Nashville,TN SOON ! I remember seeing you in Atlanta back in 1982 and it's been a long time since then.I just went to see Styx/REO and in the lobby they had this glass encased shrine of tickets from past concerts over the years and sure enough was a "Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush" ticket dated 1980---sure wish I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE ! Please continue making music Frank. Sincerely, Tim Cowart

On Mar,18,1978 I went Cal Jam 2.The night before I walked through a sea of people to get to the front row. After ten hours I reach the front. It was 5 in the morning. Not prepared with food or water I knew this was going to be tough. But being 16 years of age i thought I could handle it. But by 9 P.M. I had no more strength. So I left before Frank Marino came on stage.I have regretted that ever since.Because Iwent to the concert mostly to see Mahogany Rush.I'd already seen most of the other bands before. All & all,it was a fantastic concert. But I wish I would have seen Frank. Doe's Mahongany Rush still tour and do they ever come to Oregon????? Please let me Know and or send me a concert schedule. Thank YOu , from a Big Fan Ben

I've been a fan of this genuine guitar great since my sophomore yr. in high school....some 28 or so years ago...managed to see F.R.& M.H. twice, once in Sacramento & in Oklahoma City...needless to say(without naming the headliners of the shows & embarassing them) Frank & company stole the show...kicked ass and took absolutely no prisoners. For those who haven't had the pleasure of participating in one of these unbelievable displays of guitar mastery...pray that Frank Marino comes to your area...anywhere within a billion miles is plenty close enough & worth the drive, but do leave early...you'll not want to miss a thing.

I don't know why it's taken me this long to do this. First of all, when are you coming to Atlanta again?!!! It's probably been 20 years since I last saw you at the Agora Ballroom (no longer in existance due to a fire). You MUST come back and play. Frank, you have got to be THE greatest "still undiscovered" guitar masters in the history of rock (Ulrich Roth is less than the width of a hair behind you). We all thank you for hanging in there when times got tough (I'm guessing that you've had your share). I've been listening to your great music for 24+ years and I don't see that changing. Keep the faith and keep writing and playing. Money can come and go but music is your legacy. And we all have so little time! Create more music, please. God Bless You and Yours. COME TO ATLANTA!!!

The first three albums inspired the way I lived, I tripped, and I jammed age 14 thru 25. Age 25 until present minus the many forms of Leary's "Mindexpandtion Liquid Paper Series". Is the Mahogany Rush the rush created from within the body of your Boardwalk Lady? Thanks the experience has been nothing but righteous. Sean Sirnic

Wow! The Internet never ceases to amaze me. I'd like to hear Frank's take on this new medium and it's ability to bring about a more level playing field and bring folks together. Hey listen - I first saw Frank when I was about 14. it was the televised production of CalJam2. Of course everyone knew Aerosmith and Nugent and the rest of 'em but then this cat comes out with super long hair and this SG and just proceeds to blow the doors off the place. I had been playing for about a year and was diggin' dudes like Hendrix, Rush, Trower, Nugent and I had never heard anything like the sounds I heard that day. I guess I can see where the Jimi comparison might be made - technically staggering electric blues - but I really never heard a "ripoff" going on. At any rate I bought a copy of the album (CJ2) and it seems that was the last I ever heard of FM&MH. I've always wondered where Frank had gotten too. Well the other day a friend of mine comes to me and says "have you ever heard of a guy named Frank Marino?" I lost it!! I've been playing for over 20 years now and Frank is always brought up as an early influence. So I did a search on the net and lo and behold here we are. Ain't life funny? Ain't life grand!!? It's so wonderful to see that Mr. Marino has persisted and has remained true to himself and his music when so many other cats were making power ballads in so called supergroups. God bless you and continue on. If you ever make it to southern California I'd love to know about it. ith Love, Seth

HELLO,FRANK. Well,I first heard about you last year and I'm listening to your music since then.I find you very interesting as a person althaugh I haven't met you,but I like very much the power in your playing and also I've read some of your letters to fans so that gives me a tiny idea of your personality.Anyway,I believe that you are playing with your soul and heart and I find you very cool.So i'd like to thank you for existing and creating your wonderful music. I understand that it is probebly difficult to see Mahogany Rush live here in Greece but I would try to come in any other country in europe. My father lives in Texas and maybe if I find the money and you would be playing near there, then with a combination,I will surely come see you. So be well allways, keep up the good work and know that here in greece you have a lot of fans. love,Sophia.
