I stumbled across Frank Marino back in the mid eighties when a local university DJ said "this guy has got to be heard" and then proceeded to play an hour of Frank. I`ve never looked back but here down-under it`s so hard to find albums/CDs of Frank but I`m gettin` there slowly. `Stories of a hero` is an amazing song. Would be absolutely rapped if you replied to this one day Frank and cheers Willy for an awesome site, have just been through all 285 pages, and Frank you are World Famous!

I didn´t even know a whole lot about Frank until a friend gave me the Mahogany Rush Live cassette and now I´m hooked. Frank kicks ass. That´s some damn wicked guitar playin. Live is the only cassette I have from Frank but that won´t be the case for very long. I´m gonna stock up on all the Frank Marino jams I can get my hands on!!

Frank (if i may presume), I just wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying "Eye of the Storm". That certainly wasn't my first impression. Initially, I thought that you had just lost it. Too much family life and not enough rock and roll. I thought that it was a pretty feeble effort. I had hoped for something more in the direction of "The Power of Rock and Roll". One of your best and one of my favorites along with "Strange Universe". But after a while it grew on me. Suddenly I realized that you are really playing your heart out. There is some truly excellent guitar work on it. It certainly stands with the best of your work. Some of us are a little slow. Sorry for doubting you. Please play Europe, or at least The Netherlands, soon. Yours, Bruce Jones

Undoubtly the finest guitar player of our time. I've had the privilage to see him play twice and have 7 of his albums. It's a shame he never got the airplay and recognition he deserved.

If all you people out there want to know where guitar masters like Steve Vai,Satriani, and Malmsteen got there inspiration and ideas from look no further than Mr.Frank Marino. This humble artist was doing things with the guitar than no one was doing in the 70's and 80's thus leading the way for all others to follow in his path.I've not heard any other player that can make you sit back and shake your head in amasement at the riffs like Frank can.He has to be the most underrated artist that's ever recorded an album. Most of this can be attributed to the powers that be in the industry. Mr. Marino stayed true to his musical talent and his fans of which we all should be thankfull.

The most underrated singer/songwriter in rock'n'roll. Franks fantastic talent on the guitar is only a small part of his story....

I saw Mahogany Rush live once. The best way I can describe the experience is to refer you to the cover art on The Power of Rock and Roll. It just blew me away!
