Want to get a copy (cassette dupe or otherwise) of "Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush Live" (not "Double Live"!) Please help. THIS ALBUM KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!! Plus I'd love to have lyrics to "Dragonfly" and other tunes on the album.. Why did it go out of print, will it be coming back on CD or is it now available in some country other than the U.S.A.?? Thanks for all your help, Dan "the Piano Man"

Dad is a longtime loyal fan; son Kenton (age 8 - Black Strat)is a HUGE fan and ranks Frank ahead of Trower/FrippBelew/Page/Di Meola/David Torn/Scott Henderson/Steve Khan/Sonny Sharrock/Shawn Lane and many other of Dads favorites. Kenton no doubt recognizes a great talent when he hears one and asks frequently if Frank is touring anywhere. I would love for my son to witness Frank live if possible (ticket price and location is inmaterial!). Great site design.

I have really enjoyed Frank's music over the years. I kind of learned to play guitar from the live album. Now own this classic on cd. Saw you in StLouis in 1980 for the KSHE Valentine massacre. Blown away with first exposure during I believe CAl Jam 77. The version of "Purple Haze" was impressive. In closing, the Live album ranks as the best guitar exhibition I have ever heard. "Talkin bout a feeling' is my favorite.

Hello all! I had the privilege of seeing Frank & Mahogany Rush 4 times in Memphis, TN during the '70's. He opened for Nazareth the 2nd time, Aerosmith the 3rd time, and headlined the "Rock & Roll Marathon Tour" the 4th time which also included Angel, Mother's Finest and Humble Pie (some lineup, huh?) But the 1st time that I saw him topped them all. It was July 3, 1976 and he opened for Ted Nugent. A relatively short set which included Johnny B. Goode, Moon Walk, Dragon Fly and a few others that my memory can't recall at this time. However the most amazing piece of work that evening happened during a marvelous performance of "King Bee/Backdoor Man." Frank was soling away when his e string broke. He was not the least bit shaken by this. He continued to play while a roadie came on stage with a new string. The roadie helped get the string repair started and Frank took over from there. He actually finished the project, nd tuned the string WHILE STILL PLAYING HIS SOLO!!!! All the guitarists and guitar freaks around me totally lost it! My friend Shawn Lane (a world renowned guitarist himself) and I still talk about this from time to time. It is still the most amazing guitar feat I have ever witnessed. Frank, you influenced a lot of guitarists and mesmerized thousands of others. You'll never receive the credit and praise you deserve but I am glad to see the exposure you're receiving from sites such as this. PLEASE talk Columbia Records into releasing "World Anthem" on CD! All the best, Mick

I just wanted to say how cool it is that a website like this exist so that Frank fans around the world can unite!I have been turning people on to your music since 1979.I even got in to a few fights in my early years, trying to get people to open their minds as to how superior you were to the other players of that time! All of the players that I know and respect, all pay homage to you and your playing Frank! I would love to meet you in this lifetime and take you around to all of my friends and just blow them away!{Cool fantasy eh?}I was also wondering if you have ever met Uli Roth? I have always thought that you both have a lot of similarities, yet obvious differences also! I would give almost anything to hear what would come of you both colaborating on a project! {AHHHhhhh the beauty}! Anyway,I just felt lead to spill all of that out on you Frank, and am hoping that you read this! Keep up the beauty Frank! "A TRUE FAN" "JEFF HAMPHTON"!

to Frank: I really hope that you won´t forget Finland when you start you touring... I saw you in "Provinssi Rock" -95. Unfortunately your showtime was bad (too early in a traditional hangover day among maybe too young kids). I´ve heard that your visits before have been much better (in OULU for example). Me and many, many other musicians & fans would like to see you in Helsinki at TAVASTIA club(The Best rock club in Finland). Hope you´ll be there some day. About SG´s: One man, in the middle of the forest is making so good SG´s that factory made in nowadays make me laugh. He has made me 2 strats and 1 61´SG which is my favorite piece of wood. You shoud see the man and his "factory". If you have plans to come to Finland; I´ll be your guide. Best Regards, Vesa Vaismaa, SEINÄJOKI, FINLAND. And: Please, play always plugged!!

I've been a "true" fan of Frank's music since '75 and a close friend since '91. I was very impressed with this "new" web page on him, and "Maybe It's Time" that we had someone like Wild Willy to come along and shed the light here! This is one guest book that I'm very proud to sign. My hat's off to Willy for a "par excellent" fan club web page base for all the Frank Marino fans out there, and most of all to Frank for giving us all the great music through the rockin' years! Sincerely, Daniel A. Larsen Guitarist/Musician for life and beyond*

The last time I had the good fortune to see you play was in '92, when you toured in Texas. You may or may not recall me, however, I"ll never forget the time you allowed me to visit with you after your shows in Austin and Dallas. I had mentioned to you I had noticed you suffering with your throat during a few songs at the Austin gig and you said, yea, that there had to be something in the air. Then you look dead at me and asked, " But, did I sound OK?'' Although you did, I thought, "MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", he's asking me? My response was "Yes", however, I am bias. I've only been listening to your music and turning others on to it for twenty two years. I still have all twelve albums and the EP promo of "Power of R&R" you signed for me. I'll never forget!!!. I look forward to possibly hearing from you when and if you get the chance. Below is my address. JOHN R LANGFORD 112 THIELE RD LORENA TX 76655 PH # 254-857-3746 CALL COLLECT!!! P.S. Please also thank Denise, for taking the time and going out of her way for me to be able to visit with you. I'll never forget!!!

This is to all Frank Marino Fan's, If your not sure if you should purchase the 3LP"S on2CD"S release from BIG BEAT recording's that include Frank's first 3 LP'S, all I can say is, BY IT NOW!! The difference in recorded quality by comparison to the individual release's that you can obtain from Repertoire is astounding! Repertoire's version's are recorded directly from actual record's, Big Beat's version's are derived directly from the original master tape's using up to date technology. Just wait till you here "Land of a Thousand Night's", it will blow your mind!! "He'll come to collect the soul's of everyone"
