First of all I'd like to say it's cool to see someone put up another Marino page. This is fresh & quite complete. Especially since mine is a mirror site that is slightly different than the original. I've been listening to Frank since '82 when I was first turned on to him by my best friend. Frank you totally rip it up!! Everything you've every done is killer, but my favorites are IV...(the Emperor), Stories of a Hero, Moonwalk, Requiem for a Sinner, In my ways. These are THE most awesome songs!!! I first saw Frank in Ventura Ca. At the Ventura Theater. It was KILLER. I wish I could have met Frank. Maybe next time. Frank you have to stop near Monterey Ca on your coming tour! Thanks for all the cool memeories. Check out all the cool web pages about you on the net when you get a chance. Mines not the most complete. But it's there in tribute to you along with the others (3 that I know of including mine). You rock man. Keep up the faith. I know that you like Jimi So Check out my Hendrix site when you get a chance! http://www.mbay.net/~robertj/jimi.htm Enjoy.

Hey Frank! How's it goin? I'm back! Just finished eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and wanted to add something to your discography I just turned up! It's a 45 on the Radio Canada International label of "Nickles and Dimes" b/w "Child Of The Novelty"! Catalog number RC1 P1 CT-39223. I just thought some of the other RABID Mahogany Rush fans out there would get their rocks off on this one! Personally, it's all above shouting, isn't it! I must finish my Greek salad now.... Your Friend, Scott

Hi Frank, I live in Tucson AZ and I saw you at the TCC in 77 and I really enjoyed the show. Remember me? I was the yelling idiot in the green shirt in the 13th row. Just wanted to say hello and remember...be true to your teeth and they won't be false to you! Thanks for sharing part of your day with me. your friend,

Hey Frank, Hope this web page is lighting a big fire under your butt. I'm sure your mind was blown when you saw it for the first time. There's tons of fans out there who still appreciate your awesome playing and hope you keep coming around. As someone who has also dedicated his life to music and guitar and has seen you EVERYTIME you've been within 100 miles of S.D., it's obvious that it's in your soul, so we're going to do whatever we can to help you keep this train a rollin'. I first saw you in 1976 for $2.50!!! and I've bought every album on cassette, vinyl, and CD (some of them 3 times!) We're still craving for "World Anthem" on CD. Absolutely one of the strongest "A' sides I've ever heard, and I've got a MAJOR collection of hot cats! I've gotten to hang with you several times over the years and you've always been SOUL! I've got a strat that you signed about 10 years ago that now includes- BB King, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Gary Moore, Eric Johnson, Rory Gallagher, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lonnie Mack and Frank Marino. How's that for company? Unfortunately I never met Jimi. Can't wait to hear the new stuff! Hats off to Willy for putting the cool site together! Sincerely, Jeff Cloud........Cloud 9 Recording Studio

Frank, Saw you twice, once on the "Rock-n-Roll Marathon Tour" in Norfolk, VA and later on the Juggernaut Tour at the Palladium in NYC. Man, you were my idol back then. I was mesmerized by your technique. I would love to see you live again. I'm in Texas now and your fan base is still large down here. When is the next album and tour expected? Hope all is well. See you soon! Steve

Been a fan since "Live" kicked my ass in 78! Frank influenced my playing to great extent, and JB Goode has never been the same. Would some info on how to get early albums on CD, especially "Live"...Thanks, Bill

What a great page! A fresh perspective on my personal favourite guitarist of all time. For some great video stuff of Frank visit Legendary Rock Concerts on Video at http://www.gvn.net/~blueturk/frank.html . Frank's music continues to be a part of my daily listening diet since 1977. I saw him in Montreal on the Juggernaut tour in November '82, on the Full Circle Tour in Toronto '86 and at Impaxx in Buffalo in '91. Having just procured the Bromont Video from '79 only goes to show that to this day, Frank's guitar playing still ranks as state of the art and the finest that I've ever seen. Joe, Steve, and Yngwie, eat your heart out! I am dying to find out when the new album rumoured for so long will finally be coming out. And when Frank tours again, I hope he will come to Vancouver even though he swore he would never come to this city again after a disastrous opening set for Styx in 1976. Frank, keep the faith and I look forward to meeting you sometime in Montreal (my hometown) at your studio given proper notice the next time! Cheers!

Thanks for the listening pleasures...I first saw Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush in Oakland at the monsters of rock show- was hooked ever since... pretty cool comparing notes with people I've talked to since that day...they were there too, everybody agrees Frank & Co. blew away the likes of uncle Ted Nugent, Aerosmith, AC/DC etc...love the music, Frank, thanks again.

Frank, your the BEST! Been a fan of yours since 1976 and hope ya don't mind but, I kind of sound like you on guitar. I was influenced by the great Jimi at an early age by my older brother. He was into all the good music in the early 70's. I picked up on it too. I first heard Strange Universe at the age of 11 from the Don Kirshner performance of you playing Strange Universe, Talkin About a Feeling and Star Spangled Banner. Been hooked ever since. Saw you live 7 times in the S.F. bay area. Out of all the guitar players you had the biggest impact on my playing. Ya gotta see PHISH in concert. They jam! Keep on Jammin Frank! Come play in Dallas so I can see ya cause I am stuck in Texas for a while. Miss seeing you live in concert.

Frank, I've been a huge fan since 1978, and have seen you perform twice. The last time was in Peoria, IL. at a small bar called Doc Rocs on 4/30/92. I arrived about an hour early at the place hoping that I would finally get a chance to meet my all time favorite guitarist. As I walked in I was totally freeked out that you and the band were going through the sound check in this bar just 45 miles from my home in Bloomington. I thought to myself... here's my chance to finally meet Frank so don't blow it!... but I got nervous and never spoke to you, but at least I got my Juggernaut lp signed at the end of the show. I sure hope that the rest of your lp's that you did for columbia will sometime in the future be available on cd, it would be great if Big Beat could get the right's to the master tape's and release this material on cd since they did such a phenominal job on your first three release's. Frank, I always thought that the tune... "Finish Line", that is off the "What's Next" Lp contain's one of the best studio solo's that you have ever done! and it would be totally awsome to hear more Jazz/Rock and Progressive Rock inspired tune's in the future... (hint, hint) Anyway, thanx for all the music through the year's that really inspired me and helped me through my toughest moment's.... And alway's remember... YOUR MAN AT YOUR BACK DOOR WILL NEVER LET YOU GO!!!

Have been a fan since the mid-70's. Saw the original line-up at the Ottawa Civic Centre, as a back-up to Nazareth around 1975. Frank was dressed in White, and played an amazing set - I knew him on record (yes, before the CD was invented), but he was incredible live! I felt sorry for Manny Charlton, the Nazareth guitarist - he didn't come close to Frank's ability. I believe he finished the set with the Star Spangled Banner. Great show - Strange Universe still ranks as one of my all time favourite Mahogany songs, followed closely by many others. Cheers to Frank and the original line up.

Had the pleasure of catching a show in OH in '85 or '86. Ronnie Montrose was also on the bill. To this day it's still the the best show I've ever seen. It would be awesome if you could gather the rights to the old recordings and distribute them yourself over the internet....one stop shopping. Until then, thank you for the music, this is one fan who'll keep digging to find the new stuff when it does come out.

I arrived early at the place hoping that I would finally get the chance to meet you. I thought to myself... here's your chance to meet Frank so don't blow it! Well to make a long story short I got nervous and chickened out! But at least I got my Juggernaut LP signed after the show was over. I alway's thought it would be neat if would do a jazz/rock fusion album or a progressive rock type album.... I know that it would be incredible! I've always loved the solo that you did in the tune " Finish Line" wich people don't talk about much, but I believe this is one of the best studio solo's you'v ever done. I really hope that the rest of the album's that you did for columbia will eventually be released on Cd format!! I can't wait till the next album will be released, so until then I would like to personally thank you for all the music over the years, it sure got me through some hard and lonely time's..... and alway's remember Frank,.... Your man at your back door will never let you go!
