My husband introduced me to your music several years ago. I surprised him with tickets to see you in Milwaukee during the 35th anniversary tour - great show! Hopefully we will catch another show soon. Until then we have our vinyl!

I would love for you to come to Amsterdam. Wish the European promoters would get off the dime and make it happen!

I'm very grateful for your openness/granting access to those who love your music and appreciate you as a person. My favourite song is "It's Begun to Rain" from Mahogany Rush IV -- many before and after, but that one lingers the most. Also, "Bottom of the Barrel Blues", which I would very much enjoy hearing acoustic.

Cheers and all the best to you!

Hard to choose one favorite album, they are all so good and inspiring. Been a huge fan since I heard Live (1978) in 1980. I remember being stunned into silence and unable to do anything other than listen. I still listen to the albums frequently and hear new things every time. Frank is simply one of the best pure guitarists out there. He is not a slave to trends or image. He is a musician who just puts out great albums and writes great songs. The solos speak for themselves and can stand up to anyone else's. I a big fan of the shred/neo-classical style. BUt I always come back to players like Frank, Gary Moore, and Ted Nugent as the most fun to listen to and understand. When I want to be in my own zone or own little world, I put Frank on the iPod with the headphones, and I'm in heaven for a while. Thank you Frank for being pure, being amazing, and being real to the music and yourself. God bless you!

Frank, it''s been many years since I saw you in concert with Angel, Mother's Finest, and Humble Pie. Back on October 11, 1981 as I recall in Roanoke,Va. Your guitar playing is amazing and because of your influence I searched high and low to purchase a 1969 Gibson SG like your own. I still have it and play it some, although I never came close to yor talent.

Frank,

I hadn't heard of you until a friend insisted I listen to one of your cds. I was completely blown away! This was a month before your shows at the Agora Theatre in Cleveland. I was in attendance at the second show and enjoyed the show immensly. I know that you don't tour much anymore and am wondering when you may hit the road again. Keep me informed, please. Thanks so much!

Been a fan since the mid-seventies, and you sound better than you did back then. I'm a guitar player myself. I'd love to see a breakdown of your effects. It looks like you have one heck of a board. Thanks for the great music!

Mr.Marino , have enjoyed you and your band, since 1974, and still listen to you, but i have never seen you in concert, hope maybe one day, if you get close, my son and i listen to you quite often, he is a zakk wylde fan, but when he herd you play, he said dad, this guy can shred, and wanted to know who was playing, so we go on you tube to watch you live, will always be a fan, and hope to live long enough to see you in concert., thank you for all the great music, and may you live a long life, thank you your fan gary richey.

Frank I have been a fan since seeing you on Cal Jam 2. I couldn't attend and I was in H. S. , luckily they put it on TV. You are an innovator of the guitar. King Bee and Johnny B Goode left me jaw dropped. I love listening to Dragonfly and The Answer live. Thank you.

Unless I was working out of town or on vacation, I don't recall FM ever in Vancouver since I been listening to his stuff, going on about 30 years now. I played live 78 to death and had World Anthem on 8 track even. If that gives my age away who cares.

I recall the evening at Masonic Temple in Detroit where you and Ted Nugent shared the stage in what was billed a battle of the bands. it was quite the concert experience. What was that like for you and the band?

smile Thanks to a Sirius radio free 6 month trial and 'Deep Tracks' station, I discovered Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush. I'm glad his drug years are over - I lost a brother to drugs dring those crazy years. Love the music - listen while I'm driving (which I do alot). Thanks for the great sound. important
