I have been listening to the Live record again and really like it as much, if not more, than I used to, so I went out and bought Tales of the Unexpected yesterday and now probably won't stop until I have them all smile I am happy that you are continuing to play and record and tour--not bad, not bad at all...thanks for brightening up the world a little bit and keep on keeping on...Greg from Calfornia...

Hello Frank,

I am 40 years old as I write this note to you. I was turned on to your music in the early 80's and loved it from the moment I heard it. While I recognize your recordings were not embraced by the "so-called" mainstream , I can only say it's their loss!!!
As a solid guitarist myself (27 tears and counting) I know that guitar fans who have not heard your music would put you in the top of the heap with the Hendrix's, Clapton's, Gilmour's, Van Halen's, and Ray Vaughn's of the world.

I was fortunate to catch a live performance in the late 80's in Connecticut at the Agora Ballroom (opening act was Ronnie Montrose) it was superb and only solidified my desire to keep rock'in.

One of my favorite songs is "Dragonfly" because of it's funky, soulful vibe and your twist to "Johnny B. Goode" is so classic Frank it truly makes the rendition unique. (Chuck Berry must have been proud to hear that version).

Anyway, my cousin (Bill Danoff) won a few grammy's in the 70's for his group the "Starland Vocal Band" I know, kinda lame 1 hit wonders but inspiring none the less to strive for musical success. He also wrote "Country Roads" for John Denver, a prouder accomplishment no doubt.

I have had the pleasure recording guitar tracks for him in 90's and knowing what I know about the industry and performing only enhance my respect for your gift and deprivation of the world that does not know Frank Marino.

I hope you will be coming to the Northeast in 2006-2007(Ma. or Ct.) for I will surely be there. I am thankful to my friend and former drummer, Steve Bardier for turning me on to your music. What a void it would have been as a guitarist not knowing your music. I turn people on to your music every chance I get and always will.

The pleasures been all mine!!!!

Best regards,
Dean C. Vogel, Sr.

Hey Frank. I saw you play in Vancouver, in I believe 1976 or 77. It was the first concert I ever attended. I became an instant fan, and am grateful that you are still playing. Keep up the excellent work!

Glad you are still around and playing, if you come to Atlanta would like to know about it. Would also like to send you a disc of music I have worked on for a while, all original, just to get your opinion overall. Let me know if there,s an address were you won't be leary of recieving something. Again glad you're still here.

cool Frank, I saw you perform at a free concert around mid to late 80's
at a small upstate NY college in New Paltz with Stevie Ray Vaughn/
The British Lions(formerly Mott the Hoople) and some unknown group
named Johnny and the Bandits...Do you remember it? I remember you
playing my favourite song ELECRIC REFLECTIONS OF WAR...wow!
I am a big Hendrix fan, I also remember Stevie doing 3 Hendrix tunes, most
notably THIRD STONE FROM THE SUN, I remember Stevie banging his strat
on the stage while holding it by the tremolo bar and gettting this incredible
feedback in true Hendrix tradition...blew my mind!
Anyway, are you planning any gigs in the upstate NY area? I would kill to
see you perform again.
