*My name is Lewie Ruby and I've been listening since the 70s. I thought I might try to join an official fan base, if at all possible. I'm listening to Mahogany Rush this minute. I guess I'll get more information as I go here.*

Hi Frank and all the FMMR fans ... hope you are all doing well...About our kind of tribute band we were (Juggernaugh) , well, there is no more, I've tried to get some other musicians to continue, but no success sad . I would like to mention here that the video of our gig that we did in 2012 (FMMR classics song) was fun to do and I'm proud that I could get as much song as I could. The fact that I work hard to play FMMR music, which I never knew I could of done it, well these days, I can play my scales faster than before, that is amazing to me. It was
great feeling playing FMMR music. I have been trying in the past to learn FMMR music, but was too hard for me.... but I really don't know how come I got the courage and go through it and play some in 2012.... it wasn't perfect but I was proud to get so far... (sorry for my English) It was nice to read the comments about it in FB... thank you very much.... I can't wait to hear the next FMMR show... sending positives thoughts to everyone ! Cheers Frank ... God bless smile

Would love the chance to see you live sometime. When you toured California in the late seventies and early eighties I was working and going to college. Never had the time. Maybe the most underrated band and guitarist ever.

having just found this site, i wanted to convey my sincere thanks and gratitude to you frank....your amazing guitar playing first blew me away around '77 and i was even fortunate enough to see you some years later live, for the uk juggernaut tour....thank you for expressing your fabulous talent through sacrifice and hard work, your playing is sooooo musical, and such soulful energy...your music as scary as it is truthful and beautiful...a never ending inspiration to me in my own guitar playing. you know back then, i was a huge hendrix fan, yet on first hearing you, i felt immediately that you had taken his own blues/rock 'thing' to the next level..transmuting it through the power of your own spirit...making it something original...something...well..'frank marino'!!....bless you frank for all the joy and pleasure your music has given me over the years....you make my heart sing!.....love joy peace and abundance to you......philip gibbs uk

Wow! How do I begin..I'll say that the first time I heard Frank was the Live 77 album, and my brother literaly rocked away in a rocking chair till it fell to bits... we laughed alot for years on that! Frank is just so great with his touch and, when needed, agressive bursts of artistic expression, that i feel the likes of all the Steve and Satch fans maybe just can't see the cosmic connection that he displays... The other guys are like scientists with guitars and they get lots of knowledge, but in so doing remove the majesty and beauty. I think Frank feels this first and foremost, and exprsses it through the medium he is using at the time... guitar. Now I'm not saying these guys are not great musicians. It's just that I find it so bland. If i want to listen to just lots of semi-interesting scales and stuff, I suppose I'll go for that. It's only my opinion though. But if I want music to move me, get me thinking about the cosmos, God and the incredible story we are all part of, then it's simple. Seen him 3 times... astounding and the band is ace!... Though I am not a Christian, I know Frank is with God, and you can't get Frank's way anyway else. Lets hope the DVD Frank's doing has lots of old stuff on it too. I just hope Frank never does one of those things when players get together on stage. I watched Vai and Satch destroy some classic stuff like that. Frank is way past that twiddle. I wouldnt go into my garden to watch them live for free! But I heard Frank in Nuneaton, from outside a small pub, and the sound was coming out of a small upstairs window, and we all stood there as he played some straight through blues, and the moment will stay with me forever. We all just felt it, the beauty, and if your into tech skill, well, Frank has it in truckloads. Ok, I'll stop the rant now... I think I like this band!

I saw your show at the Oakland Day On The Green in 77 (or was it 78?), as a young 16 year old kid, just beginning my journey to experiencing the richness of live music and the vibe of the concert scene. I can still feel the fantastic energy you put out in that show, and when you made your guitar sound like an organ doing dive-bombs (during ) that just really, no really, just blew my mind! I've gone-on to embrace playing electric guitar in part to you and the power of your live show. Thank You.

love I just wanted to say thanks again for signing my guitar after at show at Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz but mostly thanks for such an awesome unforgettable freaking awesome night of dancing your music blew me away. In Highschool in 74-77 I had to hide my radio under my pillow so my Dad couldn't hear it, and I think it was your music I rocked to in my sleep because when I saw your show I just had an overwhelming feeling of being so at home. I think I danced for 2 hours straight and fast smile OMG it was so much fun, I hope you know how much your loved and adored for sharing your beauty with we fans wink

Hi Frank,
I've been a fan since the 70's, which has been a LONG time. I have been sitting listening to your albums all day today, I have all of them, and I just had to look you up and say how much I love your music. Very inspirational. Your music is like no other, the sound is just so different, deep, and at times spiritual. I want to thank you for your music, it is a valuable gift. Thanks
