I listen to the Live 78 album I bought over 30 years ago with the same strength, buzz and anticipation as though it were yesterday. Everyone I know who plays in bands who has listened to the Live 78 recording has been influenced by your guitar work. I hope to see Frank Marino play some day anywhere in the world.

Heard of FMMR when I was in 9th grade(1973) a friend of mine talked about "how much like Hendrix they sounded" have not had much opportunity to really listen to the music and I am looking forward to the experience(no pun intended) LSD was a strong part of my younger life but I didn't really have any "Bad" Trips Sorry that Frank did but on the other hand we may not have gotten His talent otherwise!! Thanks Frank!!!

Last time I saw Frank play 3rd Stone From The Sun at the Galaxy I helped Chanel the spirit of Jimi Hendrix as you played Jimi's spirit entered the room. Frank I sure for real felt his spirit very strong in the galaxy that special night!

Spent many a times listening to the live album with my brother Kirk, who turned me on to most of the music I still love today. Kirk was born in 56 I was born in 63. He lost his courageous battle with cancer in 2K. I happened to hear the live album today and it brought back a lot of memories of the good times we shared back in the early 80s. I googled Frank Marino and came to this site really liked the newer stuff. I hope I can see Frank play live sometime soon.

Your were part of my first concert experience in Huntsville, Alabama, probably 1977 or 1978 with Nugent playng that night too. I was probably 14-15 years old and bought my first guitar within weeks of that concert. It was a great experience for an impressionable kid from the suburbs, (lots of drugs and booze all around us at the concert, but was with a pretty straight group of kids - I actually remember the concert!). Hope all is well with you and the band. Great memories.
