damn if I don't remember listening to this while cutting school -- it was up so loud the shelves collapsed and the speakers fell on us! I think I have got five albums and 5 cds... Not accepted into mainstream? fuck them. You come on down to cleveland and play the house of blues we will fill the place with the core rockers and you can crank it up!!! Hope you are doin well.

Recently I was driving back from Palm Springs and listening to Sirius Radio - the Deep Tracks Station - and they were playing tracks from their list of Guitar Icons. I heard the Prelude going right into Stories of a Hero. Blew my mind. I mean I had heard of Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush but wasn't that familiar with their music. My Sirius radio has a replay function and I replayed that track 3 or 4 times. I was hooked. Since then I dove into their music with both feet. Currently my favorite cut is He's Calling. Awesome! Would love to see them live if they ever make it to SoCal.

Frank I am 53 and have been following you around for years gave seen you 17 times and it was "KICK ASS" each and every time. In 2008 in Dallas i got to hear you play Land of a Thousand Nights live which i had never heard live before. My favorite song. You told me and my friend David Dillard that you had only played that live 4 times. Well im certainly glad that i got to hear it at the Granada Theatre in Dallas.

Kindest Regards,

I seen Frank and Mahogany Rush back in April 1979 with Mothers Finest,Humble Pie and Angel in Columbus Georgia. The man was absolutly amazing. I was a young guitar player myself and I almost switched from Les Pauls to SG's just because of it.

Been a fan since 1978, Live is still one of my favorite albums of all time. FM and MR music influenced me as a musician in major ways. Thanks.
