Hi Frank. I am listening to Mitch Melnick and you are supposed to be coming on shortly. I love your music. I saw you once in Buffalo New York. I think that you were opening up for Kansas. Funny, an Italian Montreal born going to Buffalo to see Mahogany Rush. I have two boys whom i have converted to rock. They both play instrumnets (guitar and Bass). I am slowly picking up the guitar. (I am 49) Better late than never. You are never too old to rock and roll.
Take care and salute.
Ciao

Frank,

I first listened to "live" in the late 70's as an aspiring guitarist. I have recently purchased it on Amazon, and it still sounds so strong, and inspiring today. I love the use of the Wah pedal and chorus sound.

Thanx for the joy. A sound man for my band who worked with you the last time through Milwaukee, really enjoyed your show at the Potowatami Bingo hall.

Hey Frank! I'm 52 and teaching english in South Korea. Saw you back in the sevenies in St. Louis and again in the early 90's at Metals Edge. I hope you are well and still composing some of the best music I've ever heard. Sometimes I blast my neighbors with"Juggernaut" so they can hear some real music. The ying yang crap they listen to over here makes Brittany Spears sound heavy. Peace be onto you. Thanks for the inspiration........

During the 70's, going to a concert in Mobile, Al. was the thing to do. One of my most memorable experiences was being fortunate to see Frank Marino open for,(I don't remember,He was that good!), and myself and the four of my friends were blown away! Another time He was supposed to open for some group, He was unable to show. That was the first concert I had ever been in that the people were so upset, they booed. They as I came to see Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, not the headliner. I believe, that every fan of rock and roll needs to experience him and his group live at least once. Thank you for a wonderful memory!

I've been a fan since 1974/75 and saw Frank in Indianapolis supporting Black Oak Arkansas one year then headlining with Humble Pie/Mother's Finest/Angel the next year. I love the Real Live album and am fond of the early 20th Century releases. I'm glad the Lord is so important to Frank and look forward to the day when he puts on shows in Heaven!!

I have been a fan since Strange Universe and have kept up with Mr. Marino & Mahogany Rush ever since. I have seen Mahogany Rush many times at various locations in the U.S. I met him and his wife, who was pregnant and very close to having their baby once while I was doing a radio show called the Metal Pit for the Clear Channel station 100.5 The Fox, now 93.5. They were playing a club in Louisville called Cliff Hangers. It was a dream come true for me, Frank is one of my favorite guitar players of all time, and way under appreciated. A true Guitar Hero in every since of the word and a nice guy to boot, without ego and attitude. I can say with all the people I have met who were and are so called Rock Stars, he is one who sticks out in my mind first and foremost, along with Rob Halford, Ronnie James Dio and Lemmy from Motorhead.
Frank, the pleasure was all mine, thanks for the memories of meeting you and the music. Keep it coming and never give up, you are a God among men!
You Rock!

Frank myself and wife saw you a few years back in detroit. My wife never a huge guitar fan. It turned out by the end of your nearly three hour show, she was truly mesmerized. We bought thee t shirts and I believe it was your wife selling them. I told her I've loved your playing for years and consider you a genius. At that point she told us go out back and within 30 minutes you'd be out. You were and you signed all3 one of which was for my son in Iraq. You signed all 3 on my back for support. I have to say you are one of the nicest, and most gracious people i've ever met, thank you. When is your 2009 tour start and where will you be, my son is home now for good and would love to come with me to see one of your shows!!

I'm very happy that i have a record player!(what's in a name).
I will thank Frank Marino for his great music ! I enjoy it many times!

smileHi Frank
My daughter has just got me the remastered Stange Universe album and I have to say its brilliant,so much more sharp and crisp sound.Thank you for your quick sending of the c.d. I liked this album before but now its just brilliant.Hope you soon come back to the U.K. to tour.I think its crimminal that you don't get more recognition from the guitar press, they can't even be bothered mentioning you in their yearly best guitarist lists and you are a hell of a lot better than some I could mention.Never mind you just keep on doing what you do best making great music for all your dedicated fans and if they can't see how good you are then its their loss.Keep on rocking Frank I'm loving it.
