I accord Mr. Frank Marino the title

"Great-est Hard-Rock Lead-Guitarist Of All Times & Solar Systems"

on account of his

enviable musical talent,
amazing musical creativity,
incredible improvisational arts,
fantastic melodical immensity,
electrifying vibrato style,
super-energetic inexhaustible lead-style (see lead-work on "The Power Of Rock´n´Roll"),
admirable finger-acrobatics,
ultra-razor-sharp lead-sound,
hard-rockin´ rhythm-Sound

His priceless gift to motivate listeners psychologically and to transport mental energy through his moving music are absolutely unique in our solar system. It is hard to imagine that his musical intensity can ever be topped by a human being. When it appears on a stage I hope to be informed immediately. I just could imagine an "8-armed alien" playing Frank´s lead-guitar simultaneously on 4 guitars !

For sure there are many other super guitarists (Dave Hole, Eric Johnson, Steve Morse, Michael Lee Firkins, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Arlen Roth, Allan Holdsworth ...) but all of of them have different unique qualitites.

cool I caught up to Frank in High school back in the 70s. Friends would tell me that his music was not cruisable, but I was always blown away by the ability he had to go from white hot rock to blues to what later became a kind of new age improv. Frank is not ahead of his time he seems to be defining the time and the space. The guy seems capable of any style which he might set his mind to. In my mind music is an experience that takes one to a place that either they have been or that they would like to go to. Of all of the vehicles available FM&MR not only takes you there in style, but Frank can drive you around all day once you get there. Never die, Frank for you are timeless.

Good to see ther is still a strong following, one of the best concerts I went to, you don't get that kind of improvisational performance anymore. I send my best, KEEP ROCKIN!!!

Hi Frank, I knew you more from your love of cars. I worked for Race Engine Specialties with Ray Barton, who is now in Wernersville PA. and operates Ray Barton Race Engines. Still doing Chrysler engines. I moved to Ottawa in 1983 and in 1988 started my own car upgrade and maintenance shop called: ROBSON RACING INC. I'm still crazy about cars even though I'm thouroughly immersed in it as a carreer. I remember your Pro Stock Hemi Omni quite well. Are you still as passionate about cars as you once were? If you come to Ottawa, you're always welcome to drop in and catch up. A fellow car nut and motion junkie, Rob

I remember watching you on California Jam back in the 70's when I was 12 years old. (the good ol days). Today we were looking up bands from our past on youtube, someone pulled up Rush, out of no where I said Frank Marino, Mahogany Rush. You could tell everyone gazed back and remembered. At once all three of us said California Jam. Whens the next Tour? Florida is nice and sunny.

Hello, I'm from Belgium, almost nobody here knows Frank Marino but I do! ;o)
That's enough...LOL laugh
Supergood musicians and music, solo's are super. I love it all!
I played guitar in the 90' in my band called "ZooZ". So, I know how hard it is to get a little bit recognition. And being from the Flanders is even harder too.
Where are all that type of guitarplayers gone today? Concerts are very boring these days. And even when I hear a little guitarsolo on the radio... it's always interrupt with some kind of bullshit. sick
Keep going Frank, keep going! cool
