I first listened to Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush probably in 1979. Even though I'm a drummer I really loved his playing and the songs that were on the albums I listened to at the time. I was very serious about pursueing music as a career but got disenchanted with the negative aspects of it which for me were drugs, corruption, and the business side of things. I took a break from music for a while after 1994 up until 2004. It's refreshing to hear Frank's music once again and I'm so glad that he's continuing to write. play and record. Thanks!

smile It´s a unbelivable to listen to the sound you make!
As an non profit filmmaker I would like to use one or some of your songs for my videoproductions (fictions and documentary)...and so on.
Do you think it could be possible; because there are non profit videos.

Please let me know about your decision,
regards,
Silvano

Frank,
Saw you at minimum 10 times since the early 70's typically at the Aragon in Chicago. The concerts were phenomenol to say the least. When you first were opening for bands like Aerosmith, we would go to see you and hit the road for the headliners. Still have the album Maxoom and all of your work has not been matched,
keep on going
thanks so much,
Tony P

I got the opportunity to see you in 1974, I believe. You played the Victoria Opera House. You just blew me away. They announced during the break that you were going to add the next night to the schedule. I got up right then and rushed to the box office. My ticket number was 14. It went well with my ticket number of 700 for the 1st night. I've got both the stubs somewhere. Probably one of the reasons I started playing guitar. Alas, I was no Frank Marino(like anybody is). I still play, but bass has been a little easier to handle. Still love listening to you, though. A buddy of mine is a big blues fan. When I played King Bee from the Live album he about died. "That's not real blues", he said. "But it sure is great." We agreed to disagree about whether or not it was blues. I'd love to see you live again. Let's hope you make it back to Dayton soon. Gilly's is a great blues club around here. Maybe the Fraze Pavillion in Kettering to wake up all of the old farts, like me. Keep rockin'.

Frank and Dave, Had my first MR experience in 76 at Warner Theatre in DC. and I have never been the same since. I listen to MR everyday allday like I incorporate into my life like brushuing my teeth. Have seen you guys everytime you play the MID Atlantic area and will continue to do so as long as you tour. I have been taking drum lessons from your friend Timm Biery and have gotten to know him well. He is an incredible talent and a fantastic teacher, I have been advancing ,learning and loving every minute of it. I became inspired to pick up the sticks again after seeing a show at the Birchmere in VA and talking with you and Dave after the show and it has been great experience. You would remember me by giving you the memorial article on our late friend Terry Gleason from Music Monthly that was written about him and his life. God bless and will live paitiently untill you return to the Mid Atlantic. Later, chriswire
