I was at the show last Saturday night in beautiful Québec City, and let me tell you that I was blown away right at the begining with the first song, Land of 1000 nights. Man, from the very first note, the sound was nice and loud, and I knew that it will be a great evening with the Master of the guitar and excellent songwriter that you are! I particularly like the old stuff. Your performance was over and beyond all my expectations. I also tip my hat to the other members of the band... they were fantastic! Looking forward to see you soon in the Belle Province!

Thanks Frank, for all the good times!

I saw MR in the late 70's. 3rd row seats at the Auditorium Theater in Rochester, NY. Friend had the ticket and I never heard of Frank or MR before.

I was completely blown away that soooooo much sound could come from one guitar, one man and one band. Frank painted pictures with his guitar and opened up my ears to music beyond what the "radio played". Exploration took me to Hendrix, "Revolution #9" then to John Cage, Stockhausen and more alleatory music..

Without Frank's music and vision, my musical path would be what it was and what it is.

BTW....I'm still listening and searching. From Frank .....forward and back.

Frank i love you and your music. When i found out that you are Orthodox i realized why you are so unique among other rock musicians.I also believe you have Greek origin as well and i can explain why.

Howdy Frank, Your shows in Austin Texas at the Armadillo World Head Quarters in 75, 76 & 79 were simply amazing as a 3 piece! cool I was at the stage front each time and your music was an aural treat for the years! smile I snapped 8-10 photos on a 126 instamatic camera at your 75 show and again when you played Austin in 77 at the Austin Municipal Auditorium! My hope is to get a few of these photos autographed some time!

Good luck in your future endevours and yes "Eye Of The Storm" was sweet!

Frank,

I don't know how your music ever passed me by. I'm 42 and grew up listening to Kiss, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, etc. I used to hear of guitar battles between you and Nugent but I never heard your music. A buddy of mine just sent me a youtube link and now I'm a fan.

I hope you plan on coming to So Cal soon.

Thanks for the great music. Sorry it took me so long to get on the bandwagon.

Frank:

Thanks for the many hours of listening enjoyment. I first heard Child of the Novelty back around '76 and have been a fan ever since. I just recently bought Maxoom which I never new existed. All these years, I always thought Child of the Novelty was the first Mahogany Rush album. It was great to hear some early Mahogany Rush that was new to me.

If you plan to tour again in the Chicago area, please let me know. I've never had the chance to see you live.

Also, I was wondering if you still play the same SG that you started with. If you do, it must have a few miles on it by now.

Thanks again, Frank. Rock on!

I recently was turned on to franks music and guitar playing style that I simply, flips my switch via you tube,
I am 53 and wonder to myself were have I been the past 35 years without realizing the power and vibe in his playing ?
I have been stuck in the rut of mainstrean radio media music, whitch there is nothing wrong wiith ecept they pick the song and artist for you,
At 50 I started to learn to play guitar with a very serious attitude ,and that has broken me away from my music media rut,
I am sorry Frank for not realizing what a great tallent you are til recently
I do plan on picking up for your cd's and maybe try to emulate your chops
God bless ,

Hail all;

I was doing a surf looking for info on the Outlaws and the Grateful Dead...

Mahogany Rush and Frank Marino popped up in the information.

Good Gods, I'll admit I hadn't thought of either him or the band in, hell, 2 1/2 decades or more.

I last saw the band in '77 or '78 in Springfield,Mass.
