My boyfriend has turned me on to you,he's been a musician for a long time and knows his music. He calls me a snob about music--- I tell him I just didn't know how many bands were really out there.I really enjoy your stuff.
I guess there is no love loss in Colorado but Barry Fey isn't running things anymore........
smile
Hope to see you in Denver sometime.
Take Care,
Kathy

laugh I too was a hard core hendrix fan and after his passing there was a void that needed to be filled. the first time i heard frank i was sold on his style which was so similar to jimi's. though i have still never seen mahogany rush, i was glad that they were there. my favorite song has always been dragon fly and i'm still listening to frank's music to this day.
there have been other guitarists that played in the hendrix style, ie., robin trower, stevie ray vaughn and more but none with the pure excitement that frank brought to his music. I just want to thank frank for being there.

I bought live in 78 by mistake. I thought it was a Rush album. 2112 had just came out. I have been a fan ever since. I saw the Tales tour and was blown away. I'm glad to hear you are still touring and I will try to catch a show.

I heard your music played on Houston's KPFT 90.1 FM station. From that day I started searching the internet for more info on the band. Man, you guy's need to tour the U.S.. It would be great to make it down to Texas, especially Houston. There are alot of us (old schoolers) who would enjoy your music in live. I'm 56 and I still enjoy that psychedelic sound when I run or work out, or just enjoying a cold one alone or with friends. Thanks for letting me give my input. Keep on rockin!!

From a big fan of yours and '70's rock in general, it is great to see you are still active in the scene and doing your thing. I saw you several times "back in the day" and found your mix of progressive jazz funk and down and dirty blues an intoxicating and mesmerizing cocktail that to this day sounds fresh to me, regardless of what some critics have claimed. As a musician myself (who covered some of your music in the clubs around St. Louis in the late 70's, namely DRAGONFLY, which many dancing partiers accepted as "disco"!!!!), I can appreciate "inspired originality" as we are all products of our many influences, it is up to us how we mix, focus and project them.
Keep it up and please swing by the STL on your next trip down here in the
States!!

Hello Frank.
I am so glad I found this site.I was afraid you were gone forever. It's funny, when
I read articles about other guitarist and they ask them who were they
influenced by,You always come to my mind first. I remember the first time
I really got listen to your music,A friend brought Frank Marino&Mahogany
Rush Live home.I said "Holy Shit! Who the hell is that?"I still think you are one
of the best guitarist there is. Period! Don't ever change.

Anyways,I sure hope you tour in 2008. And if you do 'Ya better come to
California! I wish only the best for you and may God bless you.
