how do you know every other rocker from he 70's and never hear frank marino until now. I heard them on xm for the first time here lately. It's like going back to the past and hearing that new band just coming out . you would have to go back to the past because they don't make bands like this anymore. I get into robin trower and this music gives me the same feel with a marino twist I like.

Hey Frank !!!I am a big fan,I was wondering if you have any plans to tour in the maritimes soon.More specific Halifax Nova Scotia. As I am sure you know we have a great community of musicians down here.In the summer there is a Dutch Mason blues festival in memory of dutchie who left this earth way to soon, has anyone ever asked you to play down here.I think your unique style and blues feel of music would go over really big down in our neck of the woods.Hope to see ya down here real soon. Also I noticed another blues/jazz event in Halifax sometime in September 2008.Thanks for the great music it has seen me thru some real trying times.

I don't think Frank Marino is 'one' of the most unsung guitarists in rock history; I think he is THE most unsung guitarist in rock history. HEARING Frank play on "Cal Jam II" was the equivalent of WATCHING "Jimi Plays Monterey". I was as stunned by one, as I was by the other. His rendition of "Johnny B. Goode" is one of the rip-roaringest guitar solos ever!!! His work in "Tales of the Unexpected" is one of the tastiest morsels of gourmet guitar slinging. If he is not already in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, someone tell me how to nominate him.

Having been a major fan of Frank and his talent since my DJ years in Ohio in the late 70's, I was truely happy to find this site. I actually saw Frank in Sacramento CA in the mid 70's with Grey Ghost featuring Ruby Starr and the header act which we never saw, Black Sabbath. I think OZZY was too stoned that night to perform, but we were treated by Frank and Rush and we were all blown away! Who needed Sabbath when we saw the closest to Hendrix who we all missed so much. As his albums progressed in the years he found his own style and never missed a beat. I can honestly say I will always be a big fan!

Hi Frank

Hope you are well. Have followed you and your music since live 78. Still the best live album I have ever heard.

Love to know if you will come back and gig the UK one day.

All the best.

One of my favorite artists. Guitar skills are among the best (E. Van Halen, etc). He can take credit for almost blowing out my ear drum at a concert in Oklahoma ('78 I believe)...my fault, of course, not his.
