Coming back to Las Vegas on Sept 28th!! Yes!! I have waited to see you jam again for a long time. My first exposure to your music was at 15 years old in 1980 when I heard my older brother jamming "Finish Line". I was in awe and still am to this day. I remember I bought "Power of Rock 'n' Roll" the day it came out, my first Frank Marino album. "Young Man" and "Runnin' Wild" are probably my two favorite cuts. I was recently able to find What's Next, Power, and Juggernaut on German CD after not hearing them for nearly 20 years as I sold all my albums in the 80's. I missed those 3 albums dearly and now that I have them again on CD, I can't quit listening to them. I myself am a guitar player and an artist (artist primarily) and I have to say that your music has had a profound impact on my life. You never seem to be at a loss for a riff. It seems to just flow from you and that is an incredible gift. You are truly a guitar player's guitar player and one of the greats!! Hope to meet you after the show, thank you for all the years of great listening!! Bradley Beard

Mr. Frank Marino I have been a fan of yours for life the first album I ever heard was strange universe and so on.The sound of rock and roll in the 70;s was alright then disco screwed everything up! your music had that distinct tone of what real rock should sound like and back then it kicked a whole lot of ass I for one would like to see you in the R&R hall of fame. I graduated in 1979 before I went into the service me and my Bro tommy another big fan of yours took a road trip to Albuquerque and Nazareth opened up for you and it was the rockinest concert ever.well since then your early music was very hard to find for almost 20 years I have been wanting to find strange universe and by chance about 6years ago I went on amazon and my jaw dropped when I seen the cd's thank god for the age of computers can find alot of music that you thought was non existant these day's.Mr.Marino are you going to stop in Albuqureque anytime soon you have fans here .I think that the reason you never got any radio play back then is cause you freakin rocked and the stations could not handle such epic sound of your guitar I still think of you as #1 in the top ten of guitarist in the world .Thanks for being part of this world and making the music that you do,God bless and keep rockin . I've gotten to see Mahogany Rush live in El Paso, and at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas at Texas Jam 1, and 1 other time, I think, but it was back in the early seventies you know. Always awesome live, for sure. It looks like an Austin date is coming up this fall, so what an unexpected treat. I praise Jesus for Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush.

I have always been a Hendrix fan, Johnny Winter and a Robin Trower die hard. I liked Frank and thought his Johnny B. Goode was the best I have ever heard. Now that I can afford to expand my music collection, I have added Frank Marino and I am still blown away. I have seen Hendrix live twice, Winter twice and Trower about 15 times. I will finally see Frank when he comes to Califonia next month. A rebirth of my youth and for me to see an amazing guitarist. Can't wait.

Hi Frank, Willy and all my fellow Marinoheads!
Since my introduction into rock in the '70s my taste in music has fluctuated from soft to hard, slow to fast and from wood to electronic and yet through all of this there is one musician that I have always kept dear to my heart and whos music has accompanied me ever since... that is my friend Frank Marino and to an extent also his band Mahogany Rush. My first purchase was IV in 1978.
I have never met, Frank... yet my home is his home. I defend him from the few unqualified detractors and advertise him everywhere. When asked "the question", my answer is: "Frank Marino, Robin Trower, Uli Roth"... in that order.
My car was broken into but my first thought was for my Frank Marino CD's. Thankfully they had been missed under the passenger seat... whew!
Frank Marino is blessed, that is clear. His humility has hindered him from realizing how many peoples live he has touched. We can all be grateful that Frank has stayed human. He is still a mensch, clean and pure, unsoiled by and defiant to an industry that promotes filth and rewards servitude to satan (dramamtic effect).
I hope Frank makes music for as long as he is divinely inspired, for this divinity is subtle and what has left this lasting impression on me and others. Of all the music that has come and gone, the music of Frank Marino is still here and it seems to call out from the ether through the ages.

cool

Mr. Marino.....From reading your bio, I see we're only 3 weeks apart in age...(Dec. 16 '54). Is it true we're not "pups" anymore?....lol. I don't know about you, but I sincerely LOVE being in my early 50's. Thank the Good Lord we made it through to this point, eh? Whew!
I'll not take much more of your time. I just wanted to pass on my heart-felt Thank-You for having the guts to put your beliefs in the Lord and the Bible out in front and center, where many, many people can see it for themselves. And when I said "having the guts"....that's exactly what I meant. I'm sure I don't need to convince you that in today's world...these kids growing up NEED to hear "the word" more than ever.
Blessings to you, your family, and all those within your sphere.

Hey Frank!

Just heard you're coming back to Milwaukee, I'm so glad, I was getting
ready to pack it up and come out to see you out east or west.....you're a great man and musician....don't let them make you cut it off after an hour and 1/2 this time (those bastards at Potowatami), I was just at a show there that went over by about 45 minutes....can't wait to get lost in your music, it is so therapuetic! It would be an insult to compare you to any blues greats or guitar virtuosos, because there just is no comparison. ...YOU are the great one!

Thank you for signing my CDs, another thing that makes you a very special musician!

It's difficult to say which is my favorite album. RealLIVE! is my most recent favorite, but when going back and listening to the other albums I find they are all terrific in their own right. Each album pretty much marks a specific time in my life. When I first heard Frank play (1975), I realized then that I was experiencing something very special. I look forward to hearing his music again (live) in September at the Canyon Club. See ya!

I'm 21 and I will be listening to Frank Marino till my gravelaugh. I always ask people (Classic rock fans) if they are familiar to Frank Marino and Mahogony Rush.None that I ask know of him.I've always felt mahogony should have been up there on the radio with everyone else. They are the Congenials of their generation. Rock on Frank...ROCK ON..cool

I saw Frank at the Recher in Towson a couple weeks ago. I'm 15, in the prime of my life for music on the count that it's summer and i have nothing better to do. The show was one of the best i've ever seen. I don't understand how music like this can be performed at a place like the Recher, an old theater that has since been converted into a rinky-dink music hall. I honestly mean it, one of the best shows i've ever seen. It ranks up there tied with Joe Satriani at the Ramshead in Baltimore. I don't really think i can express how much i loved the guitar work, it was amazing. If you're into Satch, Hendrix, anything classic rock, anything awesomely guitar instrumental, you'll love Frank. I really just don't get how his music isn't known around everywhere i look. Or maybe it is, and i'm just not looking hard enough. Regardless, go see Frank Marino live, and buy his albums, it's amazing.

Frank,

I have been your fan since your first record. In fact not a day has gone by since the 70's that I have not listened to you. You are the best guitar player in the world and I wish more people would realize this. I recently saw you a couple of weeks ago at BB Kings and you were incredible! Hope to see you come around again soon.

Sincerely,
Brian
