Wow, what a wood choppin' experience to see live! First saw Mahogany Rush at the Hulman Center in Terre Haute, Indiana back in the early to mid 70's. They opened the show for quite a few bands back then, and what a treat that was for musicians to witness. Frank was lighting up facilities all over north America with his awesome talent. He is one of the best axmen to ever chop wood, and he helped a company sell a lot of SG's. Big Thanx to Mahogany Rush and all of the band members A-Z throughout the decades. Your music will be enjoyed forever. Rock on and May God Bless you all !

Frank, sorry to hear about your Medical condition. Saw Frampton in KCMO for his farewell tour due to a disease with affects flexor muscles in his fingers, etc. Saw you in the mid 70's in Texas would liked to have seen this concert at Agora but would like to purchase the box set of that. Wish you could put out an instructional video of your style, licks, and equipment in the future if at all possible. Cant imagine not being able to play again when you are this virtuoso. You are amazing brother. Hoping for a miracle, God Speed Frank, take care!!!

Frank,
So upset to hear the sad news of your
debilitating shoulder injury. I've heard them
all, and without doubt you're one of
the most accomplished electric guitarists
I have ever had
the privilege of hearing. In my opinion
the "old school" reign supreme!
My prayers and best wishes to you, thanks
for all the wonderful music
Keep the faith and best wishes from
the UK.

Frank, thank you so much for 51 years of badass and great guitar work and music, and it's OK for you to retire and go enjoy the good life you earned. I hope your health issues will improve for you as well.
We will always have your music.

I have seen many great guitar players but nobody holds a candle to you for straight forward lead. You are the most underrated player of all time. I think you were so intense - so good that many people didnt know how to respond as they listen to music at a base level while you were in the clouds. Like Hendrix, Page, Clapton, Young, Nugent and Zappa you carved out your own niche that can not be duplicated.

Somehow you got into my head as the song Strange Dreams is about me!

I am also a guitarist probably started around the same time as Frank. Born and raised in NYC I have played in many bands and to this day in 2021 still do.
I say the band in concert in NYC in the late 70's and was very impressed.
I recently was going through my record collection and put on Tales of the unexpected re-visiting this record made me think about those early hard rocking days and how much I loved Franks show back then. I wish him and his friends and family all the best. I've been through a lot myself through this lifetime, and I'm sober 26 years myself.

I was originally turned onto Frank in the 7th grade and was immediately blown away by his style of play and the way he would shred but still have a lot of soul.
We literally listened to Frank every single day and his Live album from ‘78 is still one of my favorite albums of all time.
I’m a huge Electric Blues fan and his version of King Bee/Back Door Man might just be my favorite tune ever!

I’m bummed he can’t tour this year and I hope he gets better do he can hit the road again and continue to amaze everyone with his own special brand of shredding with that soulfulness in his songs.

Get better Frank, we are praying for you and I have a feeling you will be back on stage before you know it!

Frank you were the first concert I attended. the Monsters of Rock in Huntsville Al. While being well versed in many bands seeing you live in Huntsville I was shaken to the core I listened to your music and couldnt understand why many people hadnt heard of you. i introduced your music to as many of my friends as i could. time went on i went to many concerts . being from the south i never heard of you playing in the area again. im sure you did there wasnt as much information floating around as is today.its with a heavy heart that i heard of your condition just 20 minutes ago, that it hit me that ill never have the oppriyunity to attend another of your shows. for what its worth no guitarist has ever touched me as you did . frank youll remain in my prayers forever . ill never forget the night you stole the show and etched your name in my list of favorite guitarist forever. May God Bless you Frank as you truly deserve. you never received the recognition you so deserved.

You are certainly in my prayers Mr. Marino, I have been a fan since I was 11 years old. My brother saw you opening for Aerosmith and bought your live album. I heard it and was immediately blown away. I finally saw you at the Mercy Lounge in Nashville a few years ago, you and your band were amazing. Maybe by the grace of God I will see you again performing because you will be able to perform again, I'm praying for a return to good health for you. Take care !!

for the first time ever i was gonna be a tour rat traveler however its said
but i was gonna follow frank on tour then the covid bullshit but then hey its back on again so i was back on also ! lots of bands out there but Frank to me was worth following on tour. i have the don't wait til it's too late moto to live by .
Frank your albums are great but to see you live is a different category and this goes to say and you and everyone else knows frank fans are the most loyal fans i personally have ever seen!
that says a lot cause i've seen many fan bases and yours are just mind blowing. from the guy that saw you 1 time 45 yrs ago that show is burned in his head , its crazy how that one outta how many that stuck and it's like that for many. Me i remember in the 70s had a lil black and white and it picked up cal jam ll i think and that burned in my head . then finally on whats next tour i saw you at aragon in chicago had the flowing white on it, seemed like the outfit was flowing to the music . my love goes out to you and family your friend tommy snow

I am praying for you Frank. You have been one of the biggest influences on me through the years and I hope you make a complete recovery. Looking back I chose the live album but I also like Tales of the Unexpected through Juggernaut which was when you were mainstream in my area. I think my favorite line on live is the intro to Purple Haze when you say, " For those of you who dug us before and for those of you who wanna dig him now.........Jimi Hendrix. " Then you go into a spine jerking rendition that gives me goose bumps!

Anybody got a joint........ Thank you.

And many many thanks to you Frank !
