DEAR FRANK, SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR RECENT ILLNESS, BUT I AM SURE YOU WILL RECOVER BECAUSE OF YOUR DEDICATON AND OPENESS TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRI, AND HAVE HEARD AND SEEN YOUR DOCUMENTARIES. ME AND MY FRIEND JUST PURCHASED 2 OF YOUR RECENT DVD ISSUES. IT ARRIVED AFTER TWO DAYS FROM CANADA TO COPENHAGEN - WOW. AND WHAT DID WE SEE AND HEAR - IN SIMPLE WORDS: MESMERIZING, PICTURE AND SOUND QUALITY AND PRODUCTION OVER 6 HRS AND YOU JUST LEAN BACK, AND SAY HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. I HAVE NO OTHER WORDS FOR IT, OTHER THAN 1000 THANKS. I AM 70 AND GREW UP IN COPENHAGEN, AND IN AROUND 1967 I STARTED WORKING AS A TEEN IN LOCAL BEAT CLUB, FOUNDED BY HANS OTTO BISGAARD, WHO ALSO WAS OUR FOOTBAL TRAINER AT THAT TIME. WE WERE ABOUT 12 LADS WHO VOLUNTEERED TO HELP, AND I HAD THE STAGE, AND HELPED MUSICIANS WITH THERE INSTRUMENTS, PLUG INS ETC. WHAT WE EXPERIENCED IN THAT PERIOD WAS SO UNBELIEABLE. IF IT IS POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO COME TO COPENHAGEN, ME AND MY FRIENDS WOULD BE GRATEFUL, AND I GIVE YOU AN OPEN INVITATION TO COME AND STAY WITH ME AND MY WIFE. IF YOU DECIDE TO DO AN INTIMATE CONCERT, I CAN MAKE THE CONTACKS.
STAY WELL, AND I SEND MY PRAYERS TO YOU, AND HOPE FOR THE BEST.
SORRY IT WAS A LITTLE LONG MESSAGE.
MOGENS, COPENHAGEN

Good day Mr Marino

I will keep it short, I've been a fan since day one ,actually from the time you played at a High School in Ville LaSalle, smile I believe it was Laurendeau-Dunton, we were about the same age then, I just wanted to know what part of Montreal that you were raised? Take care, get better soon, I hope that one day your shoulder will heal, and you'll be back recording and hopefully see you on stage in Montreal once again !! Abbi cura di te e rimani forte e positivo. che Dio ti accompagni. Alla prossima. Ciao.

Saluti da Giovanni.

Dear Frank.
I sincerely hope you come through your present crisis and bad health.
You have meant so much for the world of music and especially other guitar players around the world. You a massive force and inspiration. There is nobody like you. Should the Agora Concert be your last live performance. Know that it’s a monumental performance and a statue of rocks most versatile guitar play. Be proud of your self and please recover and live many years to come.
I never seen your live but I have been a huge fan since 1970 and off cause have all your recordings. Be well my friend and stay strong.
My sincere and best wishes here from the other side of the world in Denmark.
Henrik

Thank you Frank and your team of musicians for creating some of the most exciting, soulful, emotional, vibey and passionate music I've ever heard. You are certainly deserving of more recognition than the mainstream has given you. You are another artist ahead of your time...like Jimi, Stevie Ray and many others.

God Bless and never stop making music!

Frank,

I grew up in San Antonio, TX when the Joe Anthony/KISS radio era was at it’s peak (1973-1980) and saw you perform numerous times during those magical years and since with bands like UFO, Riot, etc… There was never a dull moment and I really enjoyed your shows. I’m so sorry to hear of your medical condition and hope and pray that you recover and get back to your passion, the guitar. It sucks that we have to all get old and deal with the physical issues, but hey thats life.

Good luck and god speed to your sir and your family! Thank you so much for all the good memories!

Hey Frank [not sure if you read this but...] Been an avid Listener to your Music since when Maxoom album first came out, bought it on a whim cuz that's what I did in those days as a record collector, and bought everything you released after Maxoom up to the first Live album. I've bought a few other albums of yours subsequently since. I've seen you play at 3 different shows here in Winnipeg MB and blew me away EVERYTIME! Sad you won't be out on tour again but hey, one's health and family are first and foremost! Peace.

So sorry to hear that you’re suffering. I hope you have enough money to enjoy the rest of your life. I have been a lifelong fan. You have been my biggest influence in regards to my guitar playing style. Land of a thousand nights has been etched upon my heart since the first time I heard it.

Hey Frank, long time fan... since 1975 maybe? Boy, that's a while. I just wanted to reach out and thank you for all the great music, the dedication to song craft and your unmatched, constantly evolving guitar playing. I don't know what's happenong for you right now, but I've read what you wrote on your touring page. Well, all I can say is life is always giving us ways to know ourselves more deeply, to see that life is always a gift, even when it doesn't seem right or fair. The sun still shines, the rain falls somewhere and love enfolds the whole cycle. Bless you for sharing your gifts, you may have more yet to give but maybe in ways you hadn't expected. Perhaps the gift is you finding you, beyond what's come to pass. Best regards, Josh

smile - A total joy when I first heard Strange Universe in 1975 at UT Austin. The album was tight, fun, and thoughtful. Your music has been with me around the globe many times--always a joy to share with others.

For me to stop and write anything on a website means that I really appreciate your work. Ear candy is good for the soul. Thank you!

Frank, myself and my best friend discovered you in 1979 with Tales of the Unexpected, both of us at 14 years old.
I (We) have been a fan since. We booked a motorcycle trip from Newfoundland to see you at the Truro Blues Festival several years back in NS, Canada but you had to cancel that show.
I too believe and hope the miracle occurs for you. I hope to see you one day again on tour for my sake. Cheers.smile

Saw you twice TCCC/ft. Worth and the Longhorn Ballroom/Dallas w Ronnie montrose. One of the most underrated guitarists in music history. Was about 20 feet away from you at the longhorn Ballroom. Always kicked ass
