I grew up listening to Mahogony Rush as a kid in Montreal. After 50+ years, I ran across a video on YouTube the other day, and I haven't stopped since. At 64, I can appreciate how good this music was a lot better than I could back then. This is absolutely first tier music.

Hello,
just found you on you tube, listening to everything I can find. Now I wanna buy some CD's, but wanna be sure that I don't support the bad record companies that treated you so unfair. Reminds me of Rory Gallagher, he dad the same hard time with the labels.
Be safe,
Birgitt

Hi Frank,
I just read an article , I think written by Michael Fisher. You had mentioned you have 100's of unreleased songs. I was thinking why not release a double album/CD with one cd of rock, the other jazz. You can call it "Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush All Stories have 2 sides.

Hey Frank,
Saw you in Atlanta at the Omni in 1977. I remember you opened the show that night as a power trio. And brother you rocked the house that night. After you left the stage that night, everyone was in shock. No disrespect to Foreigner or Ted Nugent but, the rest of the evening was pretty ho-hum. You absolutely stold the show, should have been the headliner.
Thanks for the music and the memories

I saw Frank and MahoganyRush at Dayton Hara Arena in the late 1970s with Styx.. And been watching videos of the Live at the Agora show. Frank, you are still Jamin the same as you were in the 70's. Hope you get back on the road and will be back in the Ohio area...

It never ceases to amaze me how your music can really transport the listener to another world. When I hear extended lead/jams it feels non-guitaristy in a way. It's just this force that I can't explain. Listening to "He's Calling" from Real Live! Your singing tone and voice is so cool. I can always find inspiration in your music. Thank you.

P.S. I could listen to you talk for hours. Somewhere on youtube there's some interviews where you give us your outlook on philosophy and it's just as deep as your art.

I bought the Child of The Novelty album back in '75 or 76(still have the album) and went to see Frank and Mahogany Rush at Dayton Hara Arena in about '78. Styx was also the other group that night... Great Show... Watched a couple of videos from the Live Agora show. I wish I had gone to Cleveland to see that show. Still a fan 50 years later....Rock and Roll Frank...

Hi Again Frank-hope that there is some improvements in your condition coming along?
I notice the albums in CD form are not on the site for sale?
Anyway I am still watching the DVD SET and just freak out every time..man its an emotional experience! I was telling someone recently about seeing you at hammersmith London in the early 80s and how when you came in and the band struck the first note with strange dreams we was all at the back of the hall and fully ready but we just freaked out as the sound just blew us away completely...we had never felt or heard anything close to that live! and we tried in vane to contain rolling a j on the loo cistern top as it just vibrated to pieces as you performed electric reflections of war as i kept peering out the door to explain to my pals what the hell was happening out there!!..wow now that's what I call experienced ...we are!!
Well frank like all guitar music fans i watch all the greats and there's loads to choose from ..but still there are none..and I mean nobody who is the performer that you are .as side note frank something I love doing is watching you tube of people watching your live stuff for the first time and there reactions...so funny..the almost have heart attacks!
Anyway frank get well man ..we all want some more from you...all those unfinished tracks you have..my mind boggles !

Friends and I were looking forward to your upcoming concert at Sellersville, Pa. back in 2021. A few years earlier when you came, two things really stood out for me about that concert. One, your opening song. Voodoo Chile. At times, when I closed my eyes, I could swear Jimi was right there. No one will ever come that close like you do. The second thing stood out more than anything else I've ever seen at concerts. The light show. No lasers. No flashing strobe lights. No multiple colored bulbs moving around in sequence. This was 'old-school'. It was done like you remembered back in high school... with an overhead projector. I've never seen this done professionally at any concert before... or since. It was so cool!
I'm real sorry that you couldn't make it. I do hope you read these entries. Your fans, including myself, are really praying for you. Not because we want you to tour again, but because we really care about your well being... your quality-of-life. Even if you never pick-up a guitar again, just remember that your fans want "you" around for a long time. Please... try and get better. You really do mean a lot to us. God bless you... and Mahogany Rush.
May the best day of your past... be the worst day in your future. Take care. Rob M. (aka: 'ferevervinyl')

Straight up my favorite guitarist. First time I saw you in concert was Day on the Green (Oakland 1979) and all the bands were great. You and your Band stood out the most and blew the other bands away. I had never heard of Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush until that day and now I can say I have bought and continue to listen to all of your albums that I can get my hands on. Your work has been awesome and your tone is unforgettable , Instantly recognizable. I just ordered the trio of pedals you are building and I can't wait to plug into them. I am just a closet player and guitar dreamer chasing the perfect tone to fulfill my ears. Pretty sure your pedals will get me closer. Thank you for all the great music and your humble spirit. My prayers are coming your way for better health.
