Only recently discovered Frank's music (while perusing a list of Gibson SG players online). I love what I hear so far. Will pick up the first three albums soon.

hey Willy thanks for a wonderful job on the site. i first heard strange universe in i975 and was blown away. Still to this day when I hear it, time goes back and I re-live that glorius time of the 70s and the songs are just as new, as fresh and as increidible as they were that first time. thanks to ALL who make it possible (as I know Frank does not accomplish this alone)

god bless.... Chester williams

Dear Frank: Only recently have I begun to research your current recordings and I have been searching for interviews with you - because as much as I love your music, I am equally interested in your opinions on things, the music industry, drugs, youth, the blues, etc... Your live album is partially responsible for me becoming the guitarist I am today. I have really been into you and Randy Bachman lately - not so much for the music - I can listen to that all day and night long; but to hear you talk and expound upon certain subjects - I love it. I am so grateful for you, Frank... Thank you.

I'm proud to say frank has been the biggest influence sense I saw him live in Erie, PA way back in 1979 . I started playing guitar in 1969, the first ten years only prepared me for learning franks style, and sound. My old side band Bitchwax just won best punk band for 2012. I must not suck to bad. Love yer music, thanks frank.

You play our "Star Spangled Banner" much much better than our late brother JIMI....I saw you rip itup in'79 or '80 (i'm not sure exactly....was on my own mental vacation! ) anyway, the strob light effect forever burned that moment and experience into the pleasure center located somewhere in my gray matter !!!!!!! COMEBACK TO EVANSVILLE, INDIANA...... We have a new arena/stadium called the FORD CENTRE. It won't meet this taxpayer's approval until you consenscrate it with the soul shattering sounds of which only yourself and Mahogany Rush can produce!!!!!
When I saw you, you were travelling with a little band calling themselves NAZARETH..... HA!!! They weren't bad..... but you and the boys stole the show !!!!!

Been a fan since 1973 when I saw MR at the Travis Street Electric Company in Dallas, Texas...the same night as Robin Trower! What a show!! I made every show in Houston, TX. Now in Colorado I was seriously bummed when Frank cancelled a couple of years ago because of back problems. Hope you make back out to Colorado again sometime. An evening at Red Rocks would be sweet!

It was 1975 and I had just returned to the US after living in China for 3 years. 18 years old and experiencing culture shock, I jumped at the chance to go to my first rock concert. It was in Sacramento CA. I was quite familiar with Black Sabbath, but had never heard of Mahogany Rush. Got fired up, got to the hall and after what seemed a long delay, Sabbath came out and played maybe 3 or 4 songs, if even that and then had some kind of "technical difficulty". Left the stage amidst some pissed off patrons. And then YOU came on. Your guitar blew everything away. You put Sabbath to shame. You became my first living guitar idol.
I have since accumulated and lost hundreds of albums and cassettes over the decades, but I picked up a Dragonfly CD years ago(and still have it).........Best wishes to you and thank you for the passion and talent you shared with the world.love
