Think I remember you playing at Place des Nations in the 70's when you climbed to the top of a 40 ft tower in a windstorm and blew everyone away with a blistering guitar solo. Memorable!

First album I ever heard from Mr Marino was World Anthem and I have been hooked ever since. Never had the pleasure of experiencing Frank live in England but regularly annoy everyone I know with renditions of my favourite Mahogany Rush songs. Would be great if Frank toured England once again.

Hey F. Marino and Marino's fans...
I really like this website.
My favorite ablum of all time is the Live album of 1978 and I really like the
Strange Universe a lot aswell. I am starting a tribute band (F.Marino and mahogany rush) I wonder if someone can send me ideas about a band name, that would be appreciate to see that. We are all in our 50's, the funiest thing about it is that I am born on the 20th Nov. 57, I play the guitar in the tribute that we started a few weeks ago. Let me tell you
it is not easy to play Frank's solo guitar, but, I'm doing the best I can to
sound like him.

Cheers to all

Frank, glad to touch bases with you. Looking forward to an interview soon! Saw you live here Denver around 81 at a place that no longer exists. It was called Rainbow Music Hall. Of course enjoyed your playing and the show. Thanx for leaving such rockin stuff in the history of rock & roll!

Been a huge fan since the late 70's. I play flute and sax, sing and write and record. A lot of what I hear is guitar, before I play through my chosen instruments. Hendrix is and was a big influence.
Thanks for inspiring me, Frank. Much respect!

The first time I saw Frank was the 1980 Mrathon tour and it was incredible. A few years later I saw him at a club in Cincinnati called Bogarts and I have a painting of Tales of the Unexpected that I took to get an autograph. We were not allowed to go backstage but one of the roadies took the painting in and got Frank to Sign it for me. It was one of the highlights of my life and I still have it to this day. In my opinion Frank is the best guitarist alive today and no one plays with the feeling that he does, and it comes through in the music. If I was stranded on an island and I could only pick 3 albums to have to listen to, Frank live would be the 1st one I would pick!

Frank, I missed your work in the 70's and 80's. I discovered you on Pandora radio in 2011 and cant get enough of your sound.
I hope you'll make it to Denver, Colorado sometime so we have the opportunity to hear and see you live. Come visit with us at our mountain home in the Sangre De Christo Mountains. We have the Mahogany Rush of mountain landscapes to appreciate .

I have been a huge fan of the Band and Frank since first hearing Strange Universe in the mid seventies. I think he is one of the most talented and underrated guitarists in the world!~! I have been enjoying your music since I was about 14 years old and I just turned 51. Also I am a pretty fair guitar player ( no where in Franks league , but few are), and I would love to know where I could obtain an Anthology of Mahogany Rush's sheet music. I am particularly interested in the music from the Album Strange Universe. Peace to you and yours and thank you once again for your music and the sharing of your enormous talent with the world, it has been a great inspiration , if not just a bit intimidating, lol, Rock On Frank!

I haven't listened to Mahogany Rush in years!! Then yesterday, sitting at my computer and wanting to listen to some tunes, I opened up iTunes and was thumbing through my playlists. Hummmmm..... Mahogany Rush Live shows up and I'm thinking wow, where did I get this music? I fire it up and before long I had the volume cranked!!! I must say, Awesome!!! Thanks so much Frank!!

A BIG HELLO TO FRANK AND HIS FAMILY, which of course is all of us, the FRANK MARINO heads all over the world. I saw you at day on the greens in 1978, 79 & here in SAC in 80, we need a gig here soon, it has been to long.I would love to see you with TROWER, and blues musicians of his like KENNY WAYNE SHEPPARD ya know, this town loves blues. But this will never happen to many nay sayers to produce a show like it. Which I think is a sad thing. The MAN HIMSELF PLAYED HERE 3 TIMES, if you do not know who the MAN is its the one and only JIMI HENDRIX. Well I hope you can tour soon.
