Hey there Frank...It's AWESOME to have found your music again. We have recently remodeled our home and I found several of your albums...I remember seeing you in Norfolk, Virginia in the "Scope" around 1979 or 80. Great to see your still doin' it!!!! hope to maybe catch your show if you come close to the mid Atlantic area...Take Care...

Frank, hope you are doing well and still rocking! I am 47 now but remember seeing you a couple times in Beaumont, Tx like it was yesterday. You were the 3rd concert I had ever been too (1st-Styx, 2nd- Rush). You played at the Beaumont City Auditorium with Sammy Hagar as your opening act. Wow, what a night to remember! You and Sammy kicked major ass! This was in 1978 while touring your live album. The second time was while you were touring Tales Of The Unexpected. I believe your brother was playing with you. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and to thankyou for your music contribution.

Frank, I am 54 years old and tonight (1/8/10) is the first time I have ever heard your music. WHAT PLANET HAVE I BEEN ON????? I am downloading on I tunes and listening over and over to your incredible guitar playing!!!!!! You are the most melodic, fluid, ripping guitarist I have ever heard. UNBELIEVABLE. You have regenerated within me, an intense excitement for music again. I am once again, listening with young ears !

Gob Bless you, man

Frank

There was a time when I was vague and indifferent.
I heard your music and enjoyed it.
A lot has passed and knowledge has replaced indifference and resolve has replaced that which was vague.
Now I listen to your music.
I once heard a line that has always stuck with me from (lil Abner).
It was the only thing that I listened to on the album.
"We're going to spend one million dollars of your money to build a bomb to blow your homes off the face of this earth."
The crowd cheered wildly.
I continue to hear this line, but with different phrasing, however the context is in plain sight.
Thanks Frank

tongueI MET FRANK AT GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIV. IN THE EARLY 70'S. TOP BILLING WAS PINK FLOYD, HOWEVER, AS A BIG HENDRIX FREAK AND A PROFESSIONAL DRUMMER, I WOUND UP BACK STAGE, AND WE BECAME FRIENDS. HE INVITED ME BACKSTAGE AT THE WARNER THEATER I BELIEVE 6 MONTHS LATER, WHERE AN ASSHOLE FROM ROLLING STONE PISSED FRANK AND THE BOYS OFF, AND I BELIEVE FRANK TOLD HIM TO LEAVE. FRANK SHOWED US HIS NEW PIGNOSE AMP. AND BEGAN TO PLAY LITTLE WING, I THINK. I WAS BLOWN AWAY. HE TOLD US TO SHOW UP AT THE KENNEDY CENTER WITH MY FIRST WIFE AND MY BAND MEMBERS, WHERE THE LINEUP WAS KANSAS, A LITTLE KNOWN BAND NAMED QUEEN, AND THE BOYS. I CALLED FRANK AT HOME, AND HE TOLD US TO SHOW UP AT THE BACK DOOR AT THE VENUE WITH A PASSWORD. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, WE GOT IN. I REMEMBER MEETING QUEEN AND FREDDY MERCURY. I ASKED FREDDY WHAT MADE QUEEN DISTINCT FROM OTHER BANDS. HE TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE A ROCK BAND WITH GREAT VOCALS. YA THINK???? ANYWAY, I STILL HAVE MY BACKSTAGE QUEEN PASS. WOW!!!! STEVE

I've seen you perform live four times in Ottawa and each performance was awesome !!!! I just hope there will be a fifth. My favorite tune is "Stories of a hero", I really do think that it measures up to "Hotel California".

Love your music and hope to see you in the neighbourhood soon.
