Just got off the Youtube and remembered you from when I was growing up
in Northern Cal. I remember you guys played some venues there..

I'm very much into music, I'm thinking you guys didn't have the proper
Managment> I may be wrong, your are one of the best Guitarists I've heard.... Obviously you have your style and that's what I'm talking about, you phrase better than many of the so called 'NBest' Guitarists, and You have excellent vocals.

I saw Mahogany Rush in the late 70's in Nashville Tennessee as a teenager. I just wanted to say thanks for the great show, I really hope to get the chance to see you play again someday.
Thanks

Dear Frank:
Thanks for so many years of my life enriched by your music. I've seen you live 4 times and it's not enough. Please come to Austin as soon as you get the chance. I liked the lineup with the "kids" in the band. They gave you a good pocket. I have your autograph but would really like some kind of poster or photo of you jamming. Frank, you still give me chills up my spine, literally. You are a bad ass guitarist, up to a level that you could hold the stage with any other hot guitarist in the world, living or dead! Please just keep recording and touring for us out here that are in awe of your jam. Again, thanks for the years of enjoyment! Please respond to this if you have time and put me on your mailing list. Keep kicking ass! Love, John.

Hello Frank. I had the massive privilege to see you 4 times in Tulsa, OK., back in the late 70's early 80's, and have yet to see a concert like yours since. I would always leave in "awe" (blown away) from each show wishing it could just keep going, and not ever stop. You can rock like no one else can, and it just keeps getting better. I still have my vinyl albums that I bought back then (although some are quite worn from so much play, and have since been replaced with cd's), and have your new albums (cd's) as well. My wife and I very much like "Eye of the Storm". I started playing guitar back in 1974 and was very inspired by your music, and your live shows (and still inspired). I try to describe to my friends (other MarinoHeads) what it was like to see you live, but words mostly can't describe, YOU JUST HAD TO BE THERE. I feel so lucky to have grown up at a time of such great music and talent. You have been a #1 with me for a long, long time. I have a very cool pict. of you from back in 1978 "gettin' down" on a solo, framed over my control desk in my little studio. Thanks Frank for such an incredible ride. God bless you and yours. Just a few lines to say thanks to Frank for staying true to the music.Even though you probably lost the opportunity to make a lot more money and be exposed to a larger audience through FM radio, you stayed true to who you are and playing the music that you wanted to......dignity should never be up for sale in any entertainment genre!
For those of us who have been fortunate enough to witness your God given talents in person(for me once in 1974 and again in 1981) a heartfelt thanks is extended to you.
My condolences on the loss of your dad!

Frank, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and friends. Hope you are feeling better and hope you might get back to your music to take your mind off things. Some times when unhappy things happen, it makes you realize the most important part of life.....family. Ive been a longtime fan of yours and the band, and i speak for all Franksters worldwide when OUR family of fans hope you return to the studio in the not so distant future. A world without Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush music, just isnt the same. Take your time, Frank. Through God all things are possible. Time will heal all. God Bless you and yours. Baldy_Gullsmile

Frank Marino is the most underated guitar layer in the history of rock.
He had already defined the brown sound on the song ALL IN YOUR MIND from MAXOOM, and he always had unbeliveable technique and feel.
He always suffered the Hendrix comparisons made by people who didnt understand music and didnt realize that if anything, although one cant equal the impact Hendrix had, Frank added a whole lot of technical shops to the basic Hendix feel, and built his very own identity album after album...
He has his place along Ritchie Blackmore, Eddie Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc.. , as one of the best guitar players of all time, and one of the most important...
Those who know great music played with superb technique appreciate him.

Hi Frank! I've just been listening to all of my LPs that I still have of yours, and I'm still blown away by your guitar playing after all these years. I was a big fan of your band back in the day, and I was really bummed when you couldn't make your Denver concert back in the 70's(I had tickets). I just read that your band toured in 2006--any possibility that you will be performing in the Denver area in the future? By the way, my favorite song is "Dear Music", and your cover of "Roadhouse Blues" is simply amazing! One other thing--is any of your music available for downloading? I would love to listen to it on my ipod while I'm cranking up a hill on my mountain bike...Jeff--53 years old and I still love to rock!

I am delighted to have discovered this site,
I am soooo happy to find other hard core Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush fans all alive and well,

It is our duty to support such great pure music and noble efforts from such fine musicians at a time now when most music is a street thug and a mike cursing "yo mother"....

It is my honor to be a hard core Frankster,

Frank I belive that your best days are ahead of you my brother,
keep your wonderful creativity going, we are behind you!

warmest regards
Awesome John
