I saw you in the 70's in Seattle. I can't quite remember when. Thanks to YouTube I have found some music i have forgotten about. (guess the internet is good for something after all) I do know that you opened for a "new band" Aerosmith. I also know that you blew away Areosmith that nite. I have never forgotten that. My kids have no idea what real music is in my opinion of course. I loved the 70's and 80's music. What a great time/era to grow up in! The genuine rawness of the music gives me goose bumps still to this day. Keep on rockin!!!!! Lets get that tour going for 2010.

Thanks Frank for an unbelievalbe sound coupled with technical proficiency like no other. Rock, blues, metal, jazz, fusion ... you definately stand alone along with Hendrix, Floyd, G-Dead, Beatles. Your humility is refreshing in a world wear many play just to get pay.

Keep on rockin'!

One week ago I bought my third album (Reallive) of Frank and Mahoganyrush and for the third time I'm so impressed about how strong his music feels to me! Impressing what Frank is alble to get out of his guitar and how the band follows him! Great! My first album was Juggernaut, it was the beginning of my knowing about the - in my eyes - most virtuous guitar player in Rock music. Thank you, Frank!smile

How sad that I had to grow old before discovering Frank. I'm 51 now, and have discovered Frank's music by coincidence on a local radio-station just 4 weeks ago. Ordered 5 of his CD's, these were deliverd via mail service today and am listening to them continuously now.

What awesome music, what an awesome guitar-hero. Words are falling short to describe his music. I only want to thank Frank for what he delivers smile
I'm reviewing my top-10 list of favourite guitar-players and I cannot decide whom I have to kick out. Guess I'll make a top-11 list with Frank in one of the first 3 spots wink

I just wanted to tell you what a huge influence you had on me and my friends. We were teens and into forming bands and performing when you appeared on our music radar. You were so great a guitarist that it was almost depressing- almost. Of course you still are a great guitarist and as one human being to another I want to say Thank You Mr. Marino for your tremendous contribution to my musical consciousness.

I love so many of your songs that picking a favorite is near impossible, but the single most impressive tune you produced in my little world was "Chains of S Pace". That piece is an astounding sonic masterpiece that remains unequaled by any other guitar hero to this day in my opinion.

Thank you so much for your beautiful spirit and may God continue to shower you with blessings.

Hi Frank
Your the best and always will be the best. I'm disabled now so I have all day to listen to your songs and try and play a little bit too. You make my day. No one has more soul in thier music than you do, your music comes from deep within and it shows. Your my all time favorite and always will be.
Thanks for such great music.

WOW! thanks to Pandora.com for bringing your music back into my collection.
I began as a fan back in the early years of Maxoom and had a lot of vinyl and all of yours up to IV when a hate filled woman took out about a thousand records and set them afire. Began collecting cassette tapes but never had the enthusiasm for them I had for vinyl and then the whole Husband /Dad era had me set aside my music habit for some yrs. Now with my kids looking out the door Dad has two REAL audio systems cross linked through the house on a home server with 100+ gigs of MP3 and 6 Tb of video. But it really doesn't matter because all I want is THIS sound in my head! I was in a group of lonely but devoted fans in the 70's of California. Now I'm older, rock harder and consistently embarrass my kids with my loud metal music. Can't tell ya how thrilled I am to see you and your incredible music still blowing the doors off all comers. Ya'll are truly like a fine wine and have become priceless classics with age.
We gotta show all these kids true rockers just rock harder as we get older.
I am trying to do my part by supporting music sales and blasting your work through the walls of my house with unacceptably high volume and fidelity for my aging hearing (thanx all you live shows!).
You are the engine and example that drives guys like me to never stop loving an awesome guitar hand and equal band! What a treat finding your music again has been for me these past few weeks. So many good memories were made to your tunes during some really good times back in the day. I didn't just get memories though I got a whole new plate of musical treats to savor.
Keep rockin'! I think your incredible.
An old fan renewed,
Popie Freirecoollaughlaugh

This has to be the most exciting and complete site for fans of Frank! I've been telling all of my friends about it and they too were ecstatic to find this treasure trove. Having played in many bands since 1970 and always with my trusty Gibson SG, Frank made a huge impact on my music and deserves far more acclaim than he has had as far as I'm concerned. I can only hope that Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush will once again make it to the sunshine state or close enough to see them in action once more! A thousand thanks for compiling so much history and info, I can't wait to see what the future holds for all of us fans. Sceaming SG's forever!

Yo Frank: Thanks for all of your amazing music. Would be a great thing if you can play Vancouver Island, either Victoria or Nanaimo. You have a huge following out here... huge. I play guitar along the same vein and get the Hendrix thing all the time. Your playing greatly infuenced what I do. When I want a challenge I tune into your stuff. "Howd he do that". What I really appreciate about your ability is to tune in to your bass player and drummer and produce that majic of precision. With out a doubt you are one of the best guitar players ever. thanks, SC
