Frank is such a nice guy. Rare to find in any age for such an important artist. I first heard him in 1978 and have been a huge fan ever since. For whatever reason I have only been able to see him live one time. It was at the old Starry Night in Portland around 1985. There was only about 50 people there and my friends and I were blown away that the place was not packed for this awesome talent. To this day I still do not get why everyone is not a Frank fan. Anyway, it did not seem like he cared about the crowd size and we were able to move a table right in front of the stage and with a waitress serving us pizza and pitchers of beer, it was like he was performing for us in our own living room. What a great night, great show and a memory that we will all cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank from the bottom of my heart.
God bless you Frank.smile

Hey frank......your the king of tone ...... if Jimi was hear today he would be amazed at your tonal control & the ability to create a sound of your own. Besides Jimi there is no one else that can dive bomb a guitar with such a viciuos attack...... i get chills & a soulful feeling every time i hear the Mahogany Rush Live album cranked up to 11.
Just a long time fan that has never stopped spreading the gospel on who you are & how you deserve way more recognition than you ever got ....rock on ol chap.......play on drummer. Mike Stead a.k.a Keef McHendrix.

I've been a guitar player for 50 years and I make them and one of my favorite's to make and play is the SG. Good to see that you're still rockin and US guitar players know who you are. You don't even have to be on the radio. Do you know where you can get copies of the California Jam recordings (weren't you there?). Are you still living in Canada?

Hi. After reading a few books about guitarists recently I came across the name Frank Marino. Well lets see whether there is any clips on You Tube? Well there was and I was impressed. I am now listening to a couple of CDs I got off Amazon. Great stuff. Ignore all that Hendrix Clone Rubbish and enjoy some great guitar playing. Frank just keep picking and for gods sake get some video out.

Best wishes, Ray
