WHAT CAN I SAY? ONE DAY BACK IN THE 70's I WALKED INTO AN IMPORT RECORD STORE IN SYDNEY TO BUY SOME RECORDS.I HAD AN ALBUM AT HOME CALLED "STRANGE UNIVERSE" WHICH I LOVED.HOWEVER AFTER SEARCHING EVERY RECORD SHOP IN THE COUNTRY I HAD ALL BUT GIVEN UP TRYING TO FIND ANYTHING ELSE THIS AMAZING BAND MAY HAVE PUT OUT.THEN ONE DAY IT HAPPENED.I WAS SIFTING THROUGH THE ALBUMS IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER LOOKING FOR SOMETHING NEW AND EXITING AND THERE IT WAS."MAHOGANY RUSH LIVE".WHEN I READ THE SONG LIST ON THE BACK I WAS AMAZED. TO CUT A LONG STORY SHORT I BOUGHT FOUR COPIES TO SHARE WITH MY FRIENDS WHO WERE ALSO FRANK GROUPIES.WELL IT IS NOW 1999 AND WE STILL SEARCH THE SHOPS FOR ANYTHING "FRANK",WE STILL LOVE THE MUSIC AND LIKE EVERYONE ELSE WHERE STILL WONDERING, "WHATS NEXT".MAHOGANY RUSH WERE THE BEST KICK ASS BAND I EVER HEARD. MAHOGANY RUSH LIVE IS MY FAVOURITE ALLTIME LIVE ALBUM."FRANK MARINO" YOU ARE THE BEST ALLROUND GUITARIST ON THE PLANET.YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT I HAVE NOT SEEN IN OTHER GREAT "AXEMEN".THE TALENT TO PLAY ANY STYLE AT ANY SPEED.YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO TAKE THE LISTENER AWAY TO PLACES UNKNOWN.PLEASE "FRANK" DON'T WASTE THAT TALENT DOING NOTHING.DO WHAT THE "GOD OF MUSIC" CHOSE YOU TO DO SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE - PLAY!

Mahogany Rush Live has got to be the most kickass of all. The lead solo he do's just before the World anthum is by far the best I'v ever heard in my life. My brother and I saw Frank Marino at royal oak in detriot mich back in the late 70s and the memory of this will live on for ever.At the end of the show frank did this christmas tune and set his gutar down and walked off the stage the crowd went crazy for what seemed to be hours. Then Frank walked back on picked up his gutar and started playing purple hase Man every hair on my body stood on end What a rush. This Man is truely the best of the best. Frank if you're ever in Michigan for any reson stop in Id love to jam with you.Im not to shabbie my self. A freind indeed. Emmett

Wow!!!!!! I can't believe that we have reach 1000 guestbook entries. When I started this site 2 years ago, I had an idea that there were many fans out there, but to my pleasant surprise, there are a lot more than I thought. Frank Marino's music has touched us all in the same way and we all appreciate it immensely. I thank all of you for seeking Frank Marino out on the web and keeping him in your soul for all of these years. Many people still haven't discovered him yet, but as soon as they do, they will ask themselves "Where the hell have I been for all these years"! Frank Marino is one of the best rock musicians that ever set foot on God's green Earth and I am glad that we can all share in the glory by continuing to listen to and turn on people to Frank's music from now until eternity. God bless all of you and of course God bless Frank Marino!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Frank & Wild Willy, Since my last visit Wild Willy has made some changes to the site, THE SITE LOOKS GREAT!!! I've been a Mahogany Rush fan all the way back to my high school years, and have been lucky enough to see the band live several times. I have some Frank Marino photos posted on the "Rock Photos" page of my site from a San Diego show in the early 80's. We're all waiting out here in Seattle for the next time Frank comes to town! Regards, Chuck

First of all I still can't beleive that I found a web site for Frank!!! Talking about a blast from the past, it brought back alot of great memories. In the mid to late 70's I was an avid rock fan that attended every rock venue I could in Austin, TX (Long live the Armadillo). Somehow I was turned on to Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush and was blown away. From that point on I didn't miss a show. By far to this day they were the best Live concerts I have ever experienced. He is truly the master. I would make my way to the front of the stage and just stand there just totaly idolizing the master at work. I have every album and CD he produced with Mahogany Rush. When time allows and Im alone I'll put on Mahogany Rush "Live" , close my eyes and sail back 20 years (the good ol days). For anyone that has never seen him live you must Go....you will not be dissapointed I promise!!!

I love Frank but what's up? We as loyal fans have waited and waited and waited for a new album. From the Hip was realeased in '90, nine plus years ago. I plan to support Frank, but I feel he should update his REAL fans of which there are obviously many reading these pages. Get out and tour, your fans will go out and see you. Sell the new disk at the shows. Forget the middle man, manufacture the CD, sell it and the shows and through this site. Get out and tour.

Frank is an awesome guitar player that I've enjoyed listening to since 1976. although I have'nt heard a few of his newer albums, I plan to expand soon. I'm proud to say that FM&MR LIVE on 8-Track has warped my mind for the better and shaped my musical tastes! I'll look forward to hearing of any live gigs in Florida.

I have looked all over for Strange Universe on CD. The old vinyl and 8-track wore out a long time ago. I couldn't find it, and didn't know it was available on the 3 disc set until I visited your site. Amazon has it, and I got it. Thanks, man! Excellent site, and much needed.
